Representing CFNA
For now I will not discuss the current gameplay performance displayed by Teamw0w but would like to have a discussion on why we have a team representing North America with absolutely no sponsorship's, organization, not even team gear?I understand it is mainly a teams responsibility to provide themselves with gear and other amenities provided by the players themselves or a sponsor. But why on earth would you not help out the team by providing such items? Im just assuming but they didnt even have a logo until SG made on for them? Hell if I would have been more active in the scene I would have helped provide them with some team team. I understand having such things isnt going to make them play better but they just looked out of place compared to the rest of the teams playing. It looked unprofessional and shows how careless we treat our players here in CFNA.

Although you're correct it really did look unprofessional, but the qualifiers were held one month before the event. Shortly after they won I spoke with them and they asked for some help with getting sponsored and taking care of all that. So I've been doing it for them ever since then, most of the organizations I contacted (over 30) didn't respond and some others said they aren't looking into crossfire teams or wouldn't provide what we ask for. All the ones that actually did respond and wanted to meet with me and the team to discuss this further came to a resolution that Crossfire NA has little to no exposure (twitch streamers, twitter followers, etc). Which they're correct, can't argue with them on that point. But there wasn't simply enough time to get them sponsored in time.

We messaged most sponsors but they all said that they're not interested in sponsoring CFNA
And not going to talk about the performance of our team as a whole, but individually it's difficult to play Asian teams when I can't even use my own gear
(But we did make our own logo) -

Still unfortunate to see CFNA lacking in terms of exposure and also sponsors. I mean if you talk to the right company, or product, they just might be interested but most look for beneficially agreements.. primarily exposure. They wouldn't pay you money or merchandise (gear, etc.) unless you had a proper "fan base" such as social media. Even though it's only CrossFire, marketing is a big aspect when it comes to stuff like this. Since you don't have that [fan base], best bet is influencing companies instead of just saying "Hey, we won a tournament, sponsor us with free stuff".
