Some players "trick" their ping to teleport themselves whenever they want on map.

Still not enough evidence though, I think.

I mean, I've seen a ton of people doing it, but I don't think it's enough to show that they're doing on purpose.

If you see anyone doing this and think it is worth a report, you can always report the replay through the ticket system or hack system.

Yup, showing the whole replay is the best, better than just parts of it. Showing the whole thing, you can maybe see that he only lags on that spot to get there, while not lagging on any other places at all.

Then send in the replay. Make sure it's the actual replay (.cfr) and not a recorded video of the replay.

I dont even think these on purpose spiked pings show up in a replay.

No, i will not report anyone which do this trick because i sended lots of report related this problem and i saw players which trick ping still play and they not banned

Try sending a Support Ticket instead of report through the Hacking Report. Good luck.

Isn't the cause of the teleporting them just disconnecting their Ethernet cable for couple seconds and quickly re-connecting it, I read it somewhere on the forum that people were doing this on purpose.

When you submit the replay make sure to fill out the report properly. Include what times the player does the crime.

Since this thread is kinda useless, what does it mean if a person use to be in rankings but you can't find that player anymore? Does it mean that player has been banned? Or just changed name?

This is a big problem! I am finally fed up with it! Im quitting and going to pay $60 for a real game like counter strike.. One where they protect their players from this abuse!

ALSO BUGGING UNDER THE STEPS IN MERIDA.. THERES A WHITE PLATFORM UNDER THE STEPS SO I SUSPECT THIS GAME WAS DESIGNED INTENTIONALLY FOR BUGGING AND GLITCHING... SEE NO OTHER REASON FOR THAT WHITE PLATFORM IN MERIDA MAP.

Escape mode players had huge problems with this. Players would just teleport from their spawn into the portal. Yes it is bannable but I'm not sure if the new staff knows that lmao.

No need for $60, it's like 15-20$ unless it's on sale even cheaper.

Name change. Or sometimes it just doesn't work. I tried searching for Zyko and it was just random low rank accounts, but my account wasn't there...

U guys ever heard about a "timed out connection". Never heard about staying in a server for 10 seconds or teleporting from a site to b whatsoever lol

Well modem-tapping (commonly known as lag switching) is not new and it's done in many other games especially the COD games on console and isn't really had to do. So anybody can easily do it if you know how (not saying you should as the outcome won't be nice for you)

Yea but it times out in less than 10 for sure so its an exaggeration to say that "x" teleported from an end to another of a map

m8 have you not been playing in NA channels? Most of the players have a natural lag switch lol also you don't need a huge ping to lag, you just need about 400 or so.

All i play is gm though and the tapping thing wont work on me since i dont camp lol

The issue is they're using one single computer to get data from. To prevent the lag hack they should not allow players to move in game when their connection is lost and use 4+ computers from other players to verify actions.
