hey guys what the fudge

I for one i am sick of being owned by all nubs with 150+ ping in uk servers.i for one do not know very much of how this game works but,it's math for me, if i have 30 ping in uk server and the opponent has over 100(like 150 or 200) the response should be the same 3or4 times slower.BUT NO. they teleport trough map and do awesome and many kills.can someone explain how this game works, cuz after so many years i still don't know why die after i hit some corners and make a few steps, and then the game pull's me back to where the lag player saw me.(example:i was playing search and destroy map playing as black list....i passed the blue gates in mid i looked up no one or behind the door i look towards a site was 1 enemy i shoot i miss,i keep running to b site i got almost to the first window of gr base and the game literally pull's me back to the point when i saw him and he saw me and i died there on the spot .ME 30 PING HE 100+(to 200)..SO I ASK? HOW DOES this GAME WORK'S? and more me low ping he high (vip or not) i shoot (my aim is almost to the head depends of the work days....)i do him (them 30-50 ) only aiming he's, her head but he shoot's i do not know how many bullets and i die.what should i do to repair this ? ign corvus007 for those who know me and my system is: amd phenom x4 3 ghz, 8 gb ram 1600 ddr3, ati radeon 4800 hd ( i know is cheap). 300 mb inet cable.

  • Crossfire logic having high ping = more reg, having low ping shooting at lagger = them eating your bullets = doing 50-80 dmg. hhhh

reg? still a naruto fan :)

reg is basically referring to your shot hitting the target.

    like a hit box?

Basically you shooting someone and you kill him = reg, your bullets going through without a problem
  • I didn't read the entire thing for obvious reasons, but for the pieces that I did see...

If you ever shot at the "head" and delt ~29 damage (while using a rifle) you neck shot. Sucks to suck, aim higher.

Interp: is when you teleport to a certain "point" when you die to use your terms...

Enemy A is under cat shooting at Enemy B going b doors

    Enemy A has 250 ping
    Enemy B has 30 ping

On Enemy B's screen he crossed into site
On Enemy A's screen the server didn't update for him as early as the guy with 30 ping (because this kid got 250 ping)
Because of this, Enemy A is able to shoot Enemy B until the server updates that enemy b is into site
  • It probably depends on the game engine or the game servers. Can't really tell myself because CF was always like this
And sadly it will always be like this, It has been 7 years and we are still getting bullets even if we find cover behind a wall, I doubt anything will change

Yea it certainly seems like this is what happens anymore. Low ping person runs behind a wall and 3+ seconds later they get killed by High Ping person. I do remember before where it was either not this bad or like how it works in most other games where the Lower Ping person is the one who gets their hits to go through and the Higher Ping person is the one who is always gets the short end of the stick and doesn't do any damage unless INCREDIBLY lucky.
I swear it seemed like at some point they decided to switch it since it seems the majority of the player base are laggers and they didn't want such a large player base to get put off from getting killed because they're playing on a game where the servers are half way around the world from them combined with often times crappier than normal internet service. I can remember killing a lagger who would stop in place without having to chase them around the map first. 'Oh he's walking in place cause he's lagging...kill him before he appears to teleport all over the place' then the guy would die and you'd get to watch his body move around for the next minute or so.
