Why are NA channels so Dead?

Idk I still think reg is the cause. I remember when they tweaked with it that 1 patch and made it worse than it already is.I don't think that not allowing to change files would put NA from 10 full channels to just one. But many things that they did, destroyed the game. There are things that should be fixed years ago and they decided to "fix" bat/katana and some spots in Lab map... -

Reg is one of the reasons, obviously. I don't think you can reg that well against 200 pingers tbh. They jump and you can shoot them as many times as you want and it won't reg, yet they can shoot the moon and still kill you. -
I do agree with you. Some players I know that have 10 ping in NA play in UK server where they have 100 ping and tell me they get better reg than NA lol. I don't have proof of this but they probably made reg more favorable to the majority which is the laggers. I have a constant 50 ping but the player who has 80 regs first. xD I know this because I look at the pings when I don't reg :PReg is one kf the reasons, obviously. There was this time, I went to the UK servers an had 180 ping (stable), I decided to playa FFA, I did easy 50+ kills with just 10 deaths, I regged way better than when I play on NA. -
Also could be that every patch is just guns rather than something that makes the game more fun. Like white blood or something similar. I'm done for now because nothing will change anyway. p.s nothing wrong with new guns, but making it available to ALL rather than BM is something better

Thing is, yes it's guns, but only reskins. Always M4, AK, Barrett, DE, and Kukri reskins. They should also put more weapons in the item shop for both ZP and GP. They need to stop with the different modes, and add more maps. Fix more bugs too, bugs that ruin the gameplay, not fix something that has nothing wrong with it. -

My initial thoughts are the CF player base took a major hit back around when I first left, maybe late 2012? I remember hackers were rampant and it made playing virtually unenjoyable. I think 2012 wasn't even that bad, I heard it got worse after that. CF has never been blue to recover since then.
I recently started playing in UK4 though for the 5% GP :0 but only for ZM modes.

The NA channels are dead for a specific reason:
Old players quit everyday and there are no equal numbers of newcomers to replace them
Let's say you are an American and in 2016 you are looking for a game
You decide to try CF
You make an account and you start playing
You realize CF is an outdated game for 2016
You get killed through box by a guy with a 100$ weapon
You play mostly with laggers who have huge pings and this affects your gameplay
Being a newcomer would you stay here after what have you encountered?
Personally, I wouldn't.
Even tho CF has something special that makes us keep playing it, I doubt a new player would stick with this game for long thinking there are newer games out there. -
They'd rather cater to spenders in different countries that shouldn't even be here in the first place tbh. I mean back when I was active it was difficult even to get into alpha, bravo, Charlie, even if they made just one channel or server that is restricted to the guns and maps pre mutation mode. I'm sure a few will return. No VIP no nothing hahah

That much is true but... the way I see it is, as soon as the TMP Justice came out, this game died.
Sure the TMP Valentine came out before the justice, but no one really knew about it.
Long story short, it broke the game. HMX sucks, TDM sucks, and sometimes SnD sucks. -

Most Chinese players have pings less than 100 because they mostly study aboard and live in either US or Canada. Most 150+ pings have names starting with "Moham***" if you ever notice that. -

I think your thought is probably right. I have some Chinese clan mates who have recently graduated and moved back to China. However, most of them decided to move on to LOL or OW as their favorites. I have to admit that Crossfire lost its popularity due to lack of good management (like h3ckers, broken event tracker, and etc...) and emergence of new popular games. -

You shouldn't blame them for catering spenders. This game is free to play and they need to somehow figure out a way to make money. However, they've gone way too far... It's one of major reasons people quit this game. -

Now this is insulting... Based on his tone, he didn't really imply a specific group of people. But you just translated something which you INTENDED to insult Chinese. That's unacceptable. -

That's what I thought too. I was the biggest VIP user and I dominated everyone in clan server. Everybody knew me and my clan and didn't dare to cw us lol. VIPs are fun, but if you keep using them you'll get sick of them. I only use the reg ak47 and have like 5 VIPs. I wish I could refund all of them.Hell yeah. I saw some WCG players are way than those with full armor and VIPs. Still, who wouldn't want to have advantage over other players in game when they are allowed to do so. -
