Tournaments in the game!

I've been wondering for a while about those tournaments that the players host , i kinda think it's useless , I have few questions about it :

-What is the main goal behind it ? is it just for fun or what?
-What are the possible rewards ? or the best rewards we can get by winning a tournament?

basically, that's it , just wanted to know a few things about it !

I frankly have NEVER seen how a player hosted tournament played out.

And have not heard of anyone that has ever used the tournament function.

So I guess I'd like to know that aswell?

poorly constructed feature... it's meant for players who are super didicated to show up via tournament times... (it's like a tournament maker but for handy caps)

regard rewards its all covered via the hosts expense meaning they have to purchase items from the item mall (ZP only I think) and have them as rewards for the winners/second/third place

Well i played 2-3 times.
I remember in one i won alone lol, i was the only player online that time xDD
I think there isn't any specific goal behind it....just for fun. By the way you can set some rewards for the winning team

yeah they are useless.
you can just host your own tourny in a normal room. faster, less complicated, and it's easier to give out rewards.
built-in tournies are useless.

The devs are out of ideas for new content and when they find/copy any, they introduce them so poorly *cough*ranked *cough*
