Ribbons .-.
I wonder why new GMs and all staff let the one thing that make unique this cross fire version die simply.
Ribbons are a way to keep the players active and you don't make ribbons events anymore like before when we had at least 1 ribbon every 2 or 3 months, I don't really care about Ribbons rewards because most of them are trash, but that is a way to keep this game alive and you just don't do anything about it.
Na servers are almost 100% death, (2 or 3 chanels full). It's a shame that this is CF NA version and seems like Cross Fire EU version.

As I recall, they did state that they were planning on releasing less ribbons over time, seeing how the rewards which are supposed to be rare would be too easy to attain if they had too many ribbons in their catalog.
And seeing how they said that, I find the absence of new Ribbons not as something I'd be upset about.
I would like to see them do some repeat events which have some variations to it objective wise in order to attain some limited time ribbons which were available like 3 Years ago or so. -
I'd love to see some of the other forgotten aspects to be changed or renew. Like dogtag rewards (Who uses the CF-05 anymore? Change it fcs), badges rewards (WHOOOO would like a m12s for 90 days as a A3 scout reward?!), 30th ribbon reward (GP? Really? this is bs...) and so on. There's plenty CF content that has been long forgotten by the GM's already who only focuses on new trashy single-map modes and awful new guns (cough* cough SPEAR! GOLD MONKEY HAT! cough*)

There was an event this year with that ribbon you just mentioned. That is the one he means, I think.

Olympics in August.
Good Samaritan recently.
Sniper Week Ribbon re-introduced recently.
If we release too many ribbons, ribbons will no longer be considered 'special'. Its like if everyone has that rare gun, suddenly its not considered a rare gun. -

Why run an event if you can't run it smoothly and then don't even bother to provide answers when people confused/rage?

Mind you, the amount of people with the Good Samaritan Ribbon seems to have risen as of late, although I don't have concrete numbers, the number of non-staffed people who have it is now more than 1, for sure.
Other than that, Kanadians point still stands, having too many new ones will just lead to an over-saturation of ribbons, turning formerly rare rewards into laughingstocks to acquire, difficulty wise.
And I'd assume they can't just put any Gun into the 60/70th Ribbon Slot and call it a day, there's probably some major thought going into what to give players who were dedicated enough to achieve said Ribbon Milestones.
So in order to not streamline that, not releasing too many new ribbons sounds like a reasonable thing to do. -

Yes this year's Ghost mode gauntlet ribbon , i made it and i didn't receive it , me and a bunch of players, you can check the old thread and people from the top list(their profiles) and there is no ribbon, the ribbon doesn't even show on the ribbon list (the ones that i dont have) so how come do you have it? -

I completely agree.
There are so many amazing games out there, right now, and if Z8 want to restore some life in to our game before it dies completely, they will have to come up with idea's to resurrect some aspects of the game.
There have been many respectful suggestions that many players have requested before that would make this game revive it's uniqueness but were completely overlooked, i.e Improvements to: Clan Wars, Tournaments, CF Advertisements, Frequent Ghost Mode Events and as mentioned, the Ribbon System. Not to mention popular demanded suggestions of 'Removing' some things that have ruined the game experiences for us veteran players like: FP Mall Shop and S.TMP and other very OP, ZP weapons from the Attendance Log-In Rewards System.
There's quite a lot to be done, and if ignored much longer, then I guess more and more players will just keep leaving everyday, until the point of CF shutdown.
