Phone number ign?

Recently I've noticed that alot of low ranked players use their phone numbers for igns. Can someone tell me why is that bexause I cant think of a logical answer.

This is what I am talking about. He just typed 2 phone numbers for no reason.
Atleast I think that these are phone numbers cuz ive been told that egyptian phone numbers look like these.

Good theories. It's usually to make it harder for people to report them though. If you cant get their name right the report is not valid.

Actually, when asked for a IGN, They think " ID" means phone number... I once asked someone a while ago who had a weird name like that.
He told me that his English wasn't so good back then, and couldnt afford name change
