Ping issues

My ping is spiking up to 10k at random intervals and this time it's not my provider. Friends from UK, Germany, cousin from Czech Republic they all have sudden spikes or and sometimes these continue for few minutes or just few seconds. Started few weeks ago and happens every day. It seems that it's not affecting everyone just small number of players from EU. Just got client error cuz of lag on round 15 of shattered station, amazing.

Im not spiking but my ping has indeed risen since last patch.

yea I get spikes too, host room and client error. Kickes me out of the room all the time

I was playing in the same room when we both had random spikes which went as far as 4K and higher.. it was kind of weird how we all spiked together, showing it wasn't our ISP's but maybe a server connection issue.

Huh. I thought it was only my bad connection. Nice to see I'm not alone.

That happens a lot to me as well and my Ping is a stable 29-31. If only we were bothered to actually video record our stable area connections along with the in-game abnormal spikes/lags.. ONLY then our fellow Z8 Staff would finally believe us and get something sorted out.

Strange , Living in GREAT BRITAIN my ping has dropped from 35-40 to a good stable 26. Get a better ISP? or pay off the dept seems like your isp has capped/ traffic managed your connection lolOh the traffic management here in the UK is Now called a vector, governed by BT. all though im with a different isp its fully unlimited with no TM/Vector's so if i download 100GB in a day its still good.

And this, the server's are not as good as they we're Especialy with no ping limit's on any of the UK server's , just get's flooded with EGY spammers flooding the area with gibberish :0

I have always been with Virgin Media (around 10 years now). My ping used to be a beautiful/stable 18-22 with just 20Mbs cable connection. I then upgraded to 50Mbs speed (new router too), like 2 years ago. Then for some silly reason, like 1 year ago, my ping increased to 29-31, after a coincidental update/patch.

A small number of EU players also got their pings increased at the time, players even started speculating that our Server had been moved without notice. I called up VM and they said everything was the same, nothing was changed, till this day idk what caused the odd increase.

Every other game, regardless of modes, my ping spikes for half a second (when it does, I realise other players in the same rooms go through it too, so that's why I believe that at certain peak hours, our servers in the UK get dodgy for a % of us EU players, unlike in the NA servers.

IDK what to do to fix the problem but I know for sure our UK servers are not as perfect as the NA ones.

I hope tommorow is gonna be better after the maintenance. Had some issues today, was unplayable for around 10 minutes. And for the rest of my time playing ping has been increased from 35 up to 150.
