It says for the "players that played that mode the most." So say if you happen to be playing the mode that is being played the most do all those players get 20k EP?

Its a bit vague tho. You can interpret this in multiple ways.
"The mode with the highest play count will win,and players who played that mode the most will win 20k ep"

Soo, it could be that only an xx numbers of players with the highest play time get 20kep. OR everyone who played on the winning side (so either EM or TD depending on the results) will all get 20k ep.
They should have explained this with some more detail because there was some uncertainty in my clan about this.

Yeah think it's a tad poorly worded. But it means that if TDM is the winner then the players who played more TDM then EM will get the EP and vice versa.
