m4a1 predator bonuses
Hey guys, I figured out the the jump bonus only applies when you physically have the gun out. I feel like it should apply to your entire char when you have the gun equipped. This is the same case with the AWM VIP, Thompson VIP etc. AWM returns bullet anytime as long as the gun is in one of your bags. This is not the case for the jump feature. It's annoying. This m4 is actually the worst one excluding the jewelry because it only has bonuses good for mutation mode, and they only apply when you are using the gun. Not when you have your deagle out, or your nade even in the same bag. I just find it annoying. Feel like bonuses should be more widespread.

I get where you're coming from. But you should think of it from a game balancing perspective as well. Say we have it as you intended, imagine having VIP perk that applies even without having the gun on that let your char jump higher that reg. char would be a pretty broken advantage in mutant mode and variants in my opinion. More specifically, If you are good at running and "park-our" in mutation modes, having the high jump perk without the added weight of having to carry the m4 on means your character can pretty much always jump higher and run faster (0 weight since you don't carry the m4) which can outrun the mutants easily. Yea I find it annoying as well. It practically negates the entire perk. I can jump a bit higher if i'm jumping to something that's like RIGHT next to me...but if i'm jumping across a gap I'm better off with my melee out still. RIP.
Also considering the fact that even a weightless soldier can't run faster than the mutants, especially the ones that get a speed boost ability, it really wouldn't effect that aspect of balance. It might make parkour a little easier but at the same time it changes the time you spend in the air so people who do parkour would have to re-adjust to the changes in air time which can dramatically change things. I hate playing using a maiden because of that very reason. -
Yeah. I think its the worst VIP m4 in the game. Most people who play mutation have better guns than an m4 to run around with, and in regular tdm and ffa it is the same gun except without unexpected luck. I feel like they could at least addunexpected luck...
