CF Games Reward to top 10 Vote
So Grumpy asked in a thread if we wanted our rewards as EP , because some players who didn't even work hard to be in top10 asked him for that , Me (Tornado.) , CamelTbag and _*[T]***x*_ replied that we didn't want EP as reward and that we expected something special as it was one of biggest Events .
I think if someone should be asked about the prize it should be the people who participated and achieved a rank or more in Top10 , so i want to know whether you are satisfied with the EP reward or not .
PS : I don't have a problem with medals rewards even when my country achieved not many medals .
Edit : _*[T]***x*_ is Tw--ix (top 1 for Fragging and sweeping ) , but whenever i type his exact ign it turns to that .

So because we aren't in the Top 10, our opinions are suddenly invalid when put against the ones of the Top 10? There are those who worked as hard as time allows for them, you know.
Naturally they won't be in the Top 10, but they still contributed. In short, every vote counts equally, whether you like it or not.

If you wasted as much time as most of us did playing modes/maps that you don't really want to play you would expect something special in return , but since you didn't and you aren't in top10 list you wouldn't like the people who are there to win something special that you don't/won't have and would like them to win the lowest reward or don't even get any , that is just jealousy in my opinion .

You think only people who are in the top played as much as people, don't you? People who weren't in the top 10 might have played a lot too. In the first place there were no prizes realesed yet, so you actually played for something that was not mentioned yet. ungratefull people. -
Top 10 or not. People who were not in the top 10 played aswell. So they still have a say in what we get or not.

Secondly lmao such big event wouldn't to be without rewards for top players and they wouldn't add a tracker for top10 if there were no prize for them .

They didn't mention prizes for the top 10 in the first place. So you actually tried to be in the top 10 for no reward? Now you complain you don't get anything special for it, lmao. Like I said, ungratefull people. -

meaning GM asked us do we want a specific rewards, Yes original announcement before we all picked Team, did mention Ribbon and "other rewards" who knew what the original plan was, and we will never know, however from the above quote we was given option and I guess not many Top 10 suggested Viable prize and the majority on that forum requested Event Points!, I Suggested The GM stick to their original plan, when they decided to make this event, way before the Idea of Event point even making it's way into CF.
All had the option to voice their opinion and suggestion, however not many take part on the forums, so i guess GM weighed the number of EP support against other option viable or not viable and to them they decided based on that thread EP would please majority of players doesn't mean all will support, its based on majority.
as for me, I accept what I have, of course I would love something unique for the long effort something to show but its wasn't guaranteed and maybe our expectation was too high, doesn't mean people are ungrateful as the option of "Specific rewards" where asked, we all have different taste or preferences, no one is right no one is wrong! who knows, So we just leave it as the majority wins, I collected 575,000 EP if GM offered me one Weapon of choice and asked me do I want to remove all my EP for that choice of course I would gladly agree!, doesn't mean I or any one is ungrateful just means we all have different preferences!!.
Avoid calling people ungrateful because they have different "Opinion" or "Preferences" or even different "Expectations" its just human nature! -

Ian one of the top ten players , feeling sad and disappointed for our reward .
If GM grumpy read will be good .
Event that will come next four years . Is this what we wait and deserve?
Is it fair that 1 of top ten get 50k eps and 1 registerer under uk flag and do nothing in event and get 200 k ep ?
Is it fair that some Chinese throw millions of zp in top ten and they get 50k ep ?
What about who spend all nights for this and suffering to be on top and after post for waiting to see this results!
The top ten guys are less or maybe 100 person from thousands of players , is it hard to give them something special at least to make them

Isn't this the reason why you keept playing to earn gold medals ? To stay on 1st country place ? Sad you got nothing for that tho...
It's really sad that players who brought and spun crates for the two of the challenges got the same reward as everyone else. I expected more than one reward since Grumpy mentioned "Extra Rewards". Didn't expect to get EP.... -
EP got mentioned by a player as being a 'part of the rewards' and the GMs jumped all over it for a very simple reason(s). A)It makes giving out the rewards MUCH simpler for them...before they were probably trying to figure out how they could reward everyone with things without making each thing different and making everyone angry they didn't get this but the other players did. but also B)It goes right in hand with the transition they're starting to make to focus most event rewards on as EP and letting us choose the stuff we want. As again...it 'gives us choice' but also makes things easier for them.
I kinda doubt they even had an original plan for the rewards just that there was going to be rewards to be honest. The entire event seemed to have been hastily put together without being thought through fully....despite the good intentions of creating a good event...it fell through pretty hard.
That being said. We should have all protested at the very first instance when we all saw that outside of the ribbon...no rewards were decided. Which was an obvious set up for disappointment in the rewards department. People need to know what they're working towards on all levels.
And giving players special rewards would have likely mad more people angry especially due to the high levels of mishaps within the event. I think that's another reason they jumped on the EP decision.
Just hope the Z8 staff have learned a lot from the CFGames2016 and plan to make their events a lot better and to avoid that fail again. -
Sorry for the confusion, but first it was never mentioned in that thread that whatever you decide will happen. That was just to get some feedback from users that's all.
In terms of the value of opinions, I am sorry again but all opinions should have the same value regardless, this is why they are called opinions.
This event was group based (countries you selected). If you won any medal you got rewards, if you won silver/gold then you got more, if you were on the top 10 you also got more. How exactly this is not giving out more for the people who played/won more?
Also, as we mentioned before, the items in the shop will be rotated, replaced, and new stuff will be added.
but I like to participate in events.
