60% of UK servers HATE Egyptians, the other 40% are Egyptians.
Being Jordanian and living in Jordan means that i'm pretty close to Egypt, Therefore i have a similar ping to theirs, and to be completely fair some of them are pretty chill people that you can hang with, Now i don't mind the ridiculous amount of kicks or the annoying spamming or anything else, i'm just playing for fun, but recently i've been trash talked by some UK players for my ping and for being "egy trash", even got called dog.
Someones going to tell me to report them, but it's not how this should work, some Egyptians do tick off people, which is understandable for them to be mad all the time, but something has to be done! for an example an IP tracker IN-GAME for players to show their region, not sure if it might help much, but that's all i could think of, pretty damn sick of getting called dog by a random person...

Having an IP tracker in game will not solve anything. It will in fact make things worse. You're right that NOBODY should be called anything like that, but showing where you are from will not solve this issue. Well I don't want every little egy to see my IP.
Anyway, we get trash talked and kicked by egys too for our low pings. After all, this is an English game led by a company from Canada. 90% of egys don't even speak or know English, and spam the chat with their annoying stuff, so what are we supposed to think of people like that? -
Good thing in NA they don't shove their religion down my throat. They're just quiet teleporting around. Trust me, They're a bigger threat to us than they are to you, if they ask for our weapons in Arabic and we don't throw that weapon, we're getting kicked.
And Dupree, i honestly don't, but 3 of my friends were there today when i got called a dog... kinda sad tbh.
@Danah: The IP Tracker won't show your IP, it'll just have a flag showing where you're playing from, But Kanadian said it won't work, so we're cool on that :P -
Why hate egyptian? This is why i dont get, egyptians are trying to have fun the game like everyone else too.
Personally for me, it's high pingers that I get annoyed at, and I'm sure that's the issue for most low ping players.however, those other players will generally assume anyone is Egyptian because of their high ping, resulting in a little bit of trash talking and hate towards them.. -

I get the idea but you don't really need an IP tracker , you can have something similar to the Teamspeak system where there is a flag next to a person's nameHere goes.

Personally, this whole Issue with hating a player base of specific Ping made us reach an impasse, as frankly both sides of the coin have been behaving rather... ungentlemanly, so to speak.
While yes, this whole attitude has started with the "aff kika mini ping" movement, trash talking high pings because they trash talk us hardly can be a solution to the thing that ails us.
Then again, what do I know? I'm just some guy playing a video game, not a miracle worker. Of course, it takes more than one man to move the populous. That whole ping rivalry has been going on for far too long, so the odds that both parties can find common ground are rather slim.
If it were to happen though, that would probably one of the biggest improvements to-date. -
What I will say is that at least the ones that do speak English seem to understand that a higher ping means slower connection to the server and thus not good. Unlike before when we were plagued by the 'kika mini ping!' people who had 140pings and would claim high ping was good and low ping meant you lagged.
Though honestly, I try my best to avoid the 180+ pingers because it causes a lot more issues. Their movement often becomes erratic due to the lag and thus you go to shoot them but NOPE ZOOOM ZOOM they teleport 5m to the side right as you pull the trigger or you hit, cause blood, but end up not doing any damage (which happens with non-laggers too mind you but seems to happen MUCH more often with 180+ pingers). Or in modes like Mutation....they as a mutant either won't get pushed back when shot or even instead will suddenly appear right next to you, OR will hit you from 10m away and mutate you. Like seriously? Mutation could be fun if reg was normal compared to most FPS games and there weren't so many laggers.
That being said...it's not their fault at least not entirely. One would think they'd play in a server where they have a better connection...but lack of understanding or access I guess prevents them from doing that. But at the same time...it is ENTIRELY their fault for trying to kick people with low ping who are playing from the region the server is meant for which only creates that divide. I think most people don't mind the lag too much...it's when the kicking starts that people get really annoyed. And for some reason, some people get targeted more than others.
So at the end of the day...we could REALLY use that item that allows players to limit the rooms ping. Not sure how many times it has to come up before it gets added but...like seriously. It'd cover up a lot of the issues. -

Statistically, your thread is incorrect as egys are more than 40% of the total population of the UK servers.I feel sorry for you. Personally,I wouldn't mind getting called a dog in an online game.
If they add IP Tracker then it would make things far worse. I've always get trash talked by egys. They use to abuse me in their own alpha numeric language. -

Many of the more reasonable players have given out possible solutions. Problem is Z8 isn't pushing the Devs to at least try those solutions on our version. Perhaps because there's some debate of their effectiveness or perhaps because one or two of them involve content that's available in other versions of CF already but not ours so we have to 'wait' for that update. LAWL Besides, why is it OUR issue to think of a solution to THEIR problem. I mean as much as we could put in our thoughts...not much is gonna change until we get actual readable input from more members of that side of the community and then can USE that to help persuade the GMs and The Powers That Be to what TRULY needs to be done. So as much as I hate to say this in fear of very hard to read posts....can you bring more people to the forums, who have ingame accounts, and would like to see a fix? Also might wanna make sure they can read and type in English or use a decent translator.
Also can you spread this 'don't exclude players' thing around the people within the Egyptian and Middle Eastern player bases? Maybe they'll listen to you since they can't read English. But if they get that concept maybe the ones who are behind the driving force of kicking every living thing for every silly little reason or non-reason will finally understand that it's not helping and it's only giving Egyptians a bad reputation and thus bringing out the hate talk and over generalizations and getting them kicked from lots of matches too.
And We've been over the Middle East server thing....there's no plans for such due to a multitude of reasons namely that there's no CF license for such and no one to support said license in that region anyways. And no Z8 can't really do that or at least not even remotely close to easily and SmileGate probably doesn't care to do anything about it until approached by another company with some cash in hand. Doubt that situation has changed in the last month or two. As much as we all would really like it to have changed. -

No it's not my game, you're right but I never stated such.
Of course you don't care about my words, i'm not 'one of you' and i'm not stating what you want to hear. Instead i'm only stating what the GMs have stated before to the same question you've asked about 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times already.
And maybe English should be at least a little important to you...I mean you are on a forum which states you must use English. On a forum...for a game version that's for areas of the world that is mostly English speaking as main language at that.
Never asked you to leave either, just that you ask your friends and others who speak the same language to not be so rude to others and kick everyone in sight for not doing what You/They want. I guess it's too much to ask for the player base to get along instead of kicking everyone on sight.
As for the kick vote....the system itself is fair. The over use of such for no real reasoning at all is bs. You don't like getting kicked for 'being Egy' don't kick us for 'being non-Egy'. Seems fair to me. But hey, why spread the word of 'No kicking' to people you can communicate with when you can just rant and rave about 'racism' on the forums and try to get other people to deal with a problem that is the ENTIRE Community's problem.
So much for equality. Can't have that when one side refuses to be a part of it all. -
