New mouse wobbly movement

Hey guys, I just bought a new cheap mouse since mine finally broke down, It has a DPI switch button (800, 1200 and 1600) and an standard 125Hz polling rate (already checked with that mouse rate program from Slant thread).

I noticed that whenever a move my mouse quickly to do 180 spin lets say, it does not do what I want, instead the crosshair draws some spiral like figure as I move the mouse across the mousepad. I already checked Slant's thread (http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?62521-HAVE-SHAKY-WOBBLY-MOUSE-MOVEMENTS-Slant-has-a-fix-for-you!) and his fix seems to worked for any OS prior Windows8+ (I have Windows10).

So, I assume his solution won't work for me and, since it's a cheap mouse after all, it's a Plug&Play and doesn't have any software to deal with this issue.
What do you recommend to try and fix this problem?

  • Well... if you haven't tried his fix then how do you know that it doesn't work for Windows 10? Try it, it might work! :D

If it didn't work with Windows 8 and above, I highly doubt he should even waste his time on trying it with 10, as the architecture seems to be similar.

All you can really do is buy a mouse that has software to deal with the issue.

Then again, a polling rate of 125Hz is the polling rate CrossFire seems to be optimized for, and it strikes me as odd that you still have wobbly movement.

I'm playing on 250Hz and can hardly complain.
