I have to say, the UK side is doing really great, and I have to give credit where it's due. Ramill is an outstanding admin, He personally goes out of his way and advertises the cup daily, not only that but gets in contact with clans and helps them get their anticheat setup so that they can participate. Great job man,

Uk has an active clan server, Uk has an active pub community with actual pub clans. Now we look at the NA side, clan server dead all the time. Big pub clans are a thing of the past and competitive teams don't exist unless cash prizes are implemented. The difference is clear. The NA side has no activity or interest in comp except for the 2-3 teams that actually get on daily. I spoke to many many UKers today and they can constantly find other teams to face at any reasonable time of day. CF NA doesn't exist in competitive CF because of the fact that NA teams won't play for anything other then prizes which isn't a bad mentality at all but when you take into account that the GMS will no longer help the competitive community grow you can see why CF NA comp has died.

P.S - This isn't to take anything away from Ramil, he's a great admin and awesome person. This is mainly directed to the amount of effort put into helping the comp community grow by the people who run the game.

I feel like this statement is very untrue. They have made it clear an event is coming, and I can assure you it will be worth the wait. Just because they aren't funding smaller events in the mean time, doesn't mean they don't care at all.

Also it's not about funding smaller events. It's about actually giving people a reason to stay playing this game competitively. Many competitive players don't even find the game fun anymore and only continue because they have friends who play or to see it die out.

It's nuts listen the GM's/Z8 have and do nothing to better the community, idc how hyped this tournament is, how long will it last oh a couple weeks then what? Teams will decide to quit again due to there being nothing else to do. And I mean they even shut down your tourney ZZ so idk why you're even defending them. Z8/Gm's are very scrumy to the competitive scene and its very obvious to everyone who plays it. Change isn't gonna happen and it never has. UK is doing great and Na will just be its shadow.

I wrote a lot of stuff, but then I deleted it when I realised it was pointless investing that time writing it. UK? 9/10 of the players in these servers aren't from the UK.

It's true that the UK playerbase is tiny, and that without the egyptians and EU players it would be dead. I never said it was a good decision to have a scene based on 1 country or small region. However, if the scene ever was to improve in terms of getting CFS qualifiers or something like that, the team would be representing the UK so I assume there might be some requirements like having players from the UK. It's the same for NA cfs and EU cfs. The most important thing now is for them to release local tournaments in the UK servers with decent prize pools.

It's been a long time since i heard gm planning on doing something.you guys don't even at least show us the progress of the event.you guys are like just Leaving us words and telling us to wait.At least show us what part of the stage in the event you guys are up to so we know that you care.just saying something is coming doesn't make us want to wait.
