whats wrong with his tone? i think its quite reasonable.
This is coming from a player that enjoys to compete on a competitive level but has to see the game die because there is little to none attention given to it by gms.
the games competitive seen was dead at a point because nothing was being done to help it grow.
He should be given the opportunity to talk with you guys about his ideas to help revive the comp seen.
just because you don't like his tone in that post doesn't mean that's how he is going to be talking to you guys when discussing, its just simply showing how frustrated echo8 players are at this point

Just like in real life you have a limited time to make a good first impression with people and if you're asking a favor, which is the case here, then it should be quite obvious that you'd want to try your upmost to be polite. The GMs are people just like us and while we may have excellent ideas to help them they have no obligation to listen to us berate them.

Have to say his tone was almost on point via internet. The GM's don't respond much on here mostly little guys on the pole (sorry polleus/zzxq/is moe one?) And well some times you have to be blunt to get your point acrossed. I'm glad that grumpy wasn't the only GM to respond a more grown up guy? came in and let the forums know. Know that the GM's have been listening not just blowing their noses in money

Going to be honest that was my worst possible tone that I usually ever let the public "see"

Though my points would have remained the same, I could have approached it a little better.

Thought I may expand a little about my intentions

I'm not asking them for favors. I (now further realizing it) was aggressively throwing suggestions at them now that they had finally realized that the scene was dying. It was not my intention at all to "downgrade" the GM's by having a negative tone.

And perhaps a reason why my tone progressively got worse was because as you stated yourself. You guys read it but "didn't respond with any of those". That being said, in my mind I still receive it as "The GM's acknowledge their problem however refuse to even look towards suggestions."

Thank you for letting me know you guys do actually review suggestions. Makes me feel a little better

They read threads, take notes, and reply when needed. Sometimes there is no time to reply or a reply is not needed, that doesn't mean they don't care/check the forums. I'll close this as this is an @ thread and they already replied. They'll add to this if needed.
