[WCGS] Wreckless Crossfire Gaming Series - Feedback
Dear C4 and Makaveli
I wanted to thank you for supporting the competitive scene so much, even without the help of Z8 Games, you made one of the best cups/gaming series which my team played for a long time
We heard you got some bad feedback today from the forum mods, but I want to convince you to dont stop.. You made the only decent tournament which is there to play atm, you have like one of the best anticheats and a nice community, which is willing in to play every cup active..
Please dont leave us and keep the uk competitive scene alive

loving the support guys really cheers us up
im not gonna let 2 seperate infractions from nattnatt get to me but it is sort of on the ridiculous side
anyway WCGS NA will continue today
but we are debating on future tournaments right now
due to how we were treated by our mod(s)
the reason is not just that tho...
we've put alot of effort and hard work into this league
and to realize a mod and/or GM can come a wreck (get the pun)
the league in a nice sweep really makes us feel like
its not worth all the effort if that could happen
but we are debating on it and might just take the risks -
would be really nice if comming UK cups started at sundays so people have the chance to go out on saturday evenings. sunday is a lazy day so i guess more people would participate.
besides that, i really like the wcgs as it could finally show players the truth about 2Q. keep going boyzz

If this is referenced to my posts:
I wasn't saying they should stop doing the league nor was I insulting anyone. I was merely stating that in a league with cash prizes, bans and disqualifications need to be more logically and thoroughly thought out. The 2 people that were banned for macro'ing should never have been banned, and they were virtually robbed from a chance at winning the prize pool
Aside from that the tournament went extremely well- very little delays, every stage of the bracket was streamed, etc -
well, there many other ways to hold this Cup
You dont have to host it via the forum, if this is the problem
You could make a website, facebook group or even host it via ESL
as of right now we are working on a website with our own forums -
thus far, so good
I am glad that everything worked out well and everyone of my team had fun playing this tournament.
The idea to implement a competitive gaming series for the UK/NA scene is really nice and perfectly executed.
In my opinion, blackbox is the right AC for this project, bcs it is:
1. easy to use
2. hard to bypass
3. working fine for crossfire since 2013 - It was planned to be the AC for the portoguese gaming scene in europe and I also was part of the first testcup.
And I agree to every other opinion mentioned before, we need you to keep the community active and also motivated.
In europe we only have sundaycups with a maximum of 15 teams and no prize-pool - which is really embarrassing.
As I said already, you are doing an excellent job with these cups, especially the streamers, cowmoo and c4, are really passionate in what they do, keep it up mates.
Don't stop working on this idea and also keep being motivated - we need guys like you.

Bad feedback? What? He broke the rules, which he should know better than most, and got infracted for it. Like ANYONE else would get. Just because he's running a league doesn't make him special.
He knows the rules, he knows the procedures.Cant you just ignore the guys who want to prove you guys wrong?
Your doing an excellent job and everyone knows that, just let the bann list on your teamspeak or somewhere else, that no player is insulted directly
No-one is trying to "prove them wrong" - they broke the rules, they got infracted.
Thats all they need to do, put the list somewhere else, get their own forum/teamspeak etc and put it there. It's super simple stuff really... -

EDIT: You are probably referring to that cheater who got caught cheating in a cup with an actual money prize. And the stuff that was said on the forums about him. Imo he totally deserves it and if z8 did the same this game would be cheat-free. -

It wasn't an accusation it was an announcement regarding a ban on a user that was 100% cheating. Also I didn't bypass the censor? I can show everyone the original post and they will disagree with you. Also I like how you always make assumptions, great job yeah we're doing this all for fame on a game that's literally dead. Yeah, more like no we're trying to help out here and we have a mod here assuming things about us while handing us unfair infractions. I wanted to keep this as a private manner but in frustration I didn't want to continue our league if we had to deal with crap like that and had to address it to the community.

but i do have to agree with Makaveli on this one
it was a bit unfair
1) we didnt assume he was cheating
we know he did, we caught him and announced the DQ of the team
that is all there was not reason to give punishment maybe a warning but not punishment
2) yes i bypassed the sensor but did i use it out of rage....no
i bypassed it to stop a flame war from happening
oh and trust me you have used far harsh words...and ive said some bad words
not in anger but hey i was a mod and u couldnt infract me
but now it seems to me you wanted "revenge" which imo is kinda unprofessional
just try to give out warnings to forum users who arent purposely trying to cause trouble

You said someone was cheating. That's an accusation. You can butter it anyway you want, it's still an accusation and it's still against the rules.
Did I say YOU bypassed the censor? I'm fairly sure I didn't say who'd done what, as it's not my style. The people who did stuff wrong and got infracted know what they did. So no need to "show the original post"...

Whether that was you or C4 I don't know, and frankly, I don't care...someone complained, leading to all of this mess. If you/C4 had dealt with it like 99% of people on the forums and just said "yep, ok, I messed up, my bad" and moved on, none of this would have happened. Did I say it was just forum work? No. I said mainly.
How was it unfair? You know how it works here better than most...
1. Doesn't matter if you assume/know/have proof, it's still against the rules to say someone is cheating. Again, you know this already.

On the forums? Please, show me where. Outside of the forums? Well, yeah...that's called life. The rules of the forums (surprisingly and fortunately) don't apply in life//anywhere other than the z8forums.
How did I want revenge? If I wanted revenge, I'd have given you more than a 1 point infraction, and I wouldn't be explaining myself right now. -

Accusation - a charge or claim that someone has done something illegal or wrong.
There was an announcement that a team got DQed because of the fact of using an illegal program for an unfair advantage. There was no 'accusation' in any sense. Are you trying to keep the game dead or something? -

But...there was, or can you see stuff thats been edited and deleted? They said "X player was cheating" as the reason. That's an accusation. Why are you getting involved..? -

Because there's a clear line difference between accusation and proof with validation. Quite frankly, I don't think you know the difference between them.
