Cross Fire NA, Europe and UK players

  • Just allow UK to create accounts / compete in EU and everything is fixed +1 :D
  • +1!

I 100% agree with this. I can't see why its fair for everyone outside the UK can play, and people within the UK cant? That makes 0 sense, its ****ed up. Now that Z8games will own the license lets make a change? Can you actually let people within the UK play, give us a chance. I'm not saying we're good enough for CFS but hey let us at least compete in other CF EU competitions and if we do get good enough for CFS then we can compete in that too!

So yeah I 100% agree with JoshBritish you have my vote!

    +1

Allow UK to create accounts on CF EU
  • +1! UK players should be allowed to play Crossfire EU.
  • +1

#1 Either allow UK to create accounts / compete in EU

    or

#2 Shutdown EU as it's not profitable and allow EU players to create new accounts in UK servers

Either way Europe is reunited and UK can get involved.

    basically, yeah
  • In a perfect world the perfect solution would be to close cf eu, delete 1 UK channels and add 3 EU channels, remove anu unnecessary NA channels that is used for farm only to save money. Also have the UK server located in uk and EU servers in the middle of europe and ofcourse send one team from eu one from uk and one from na, because as uk players were left aside all these years the same thing can happen to eu players who dont have the oportunity of having 10 ping.

Or the other way around ofc ....
  • For the love of life let them play. But I think if it was as simple as that they would have done it. Maybe there are some behind the scene legal reasons for not allowing it or it could be about money, I am guessing it's the later because nowadays everything is.

My opinion is let them play it would add more comp to the scene and make it more exciting. Now as far as us playing in the UK servers and all of that idk.. If you guys want to play with the NA play in the NA servers none of that switching at half crap..

The problem is that they've never done anything for the UK in terms of competitive, I agree that they should never implement the switching sides at half as well; but they don't even allow us to get involved with CFS when we have to play here and can't play EU CFS either due to being part of this version. The ESL Admins on CF EU want to allow us to play, but they can't because as far as they know Z8games don't allow it. Trust me I've talked to plenty of them, they're even trying to get us involved in the country cup to represent UK, but we're not allowed in any cups with a prizepool.

If they actually can't do anything, which I doubt, then there are more solutions...

Give the UK competition like you've said you're planning,

and/or put servers in New York and allow us to play CFS qualifiers as we're part of this version (as I don't see the point of having a tiny CFS in UK servers, we either need to be involved in the EU CFS as we're in Europe, or the NA CFS as we're part of this version)

Most of us will get 70-90 ping and at least then we have a choice to compete if we want to play at your timezones. I currently get 88 ping in the NA servers, I know 3 other people who get this ping who live in the UK, that's lower than many west coast players. The timezones are always considered when it comes to west coast so the UK should be considered too if you go through with one of my suggestions.

I've been in a few top 4 NA teams in the past, my last team got to the CFS National Finals last year shortly after I left... The whole reason I quit competing in the NA server (other than timezones) is because all the teams have a dream of going to CFS, and the UK isn't allowed to get involved (as far as I know) This alone makes us undesirable to teams as we're not allowed to go.

lol and I'm 3500 miles away...
  • Servers in NY? British's idea is auto amazing gimme that low ping boi
  • Well it would reduce the UK players ping by 15 and wouldn't effect the NA players ping much, so for games between UK and NA the NY servers could be used. This is just an idea, one that would benefit us, however, being allowed to play CFS is enough, regardless of our disadvantage...

  • Haha, see New York gives UK players great ping, more competitive ping. Imagine a UK team vs West coast team, we'd all get equal ping give or take (even though they're 1000 miles closer) There's a reason for this I guess, New York has great internet/servers.

The only down side to this is the costs of having a server in New York will be greater than the current costs of the servers. So in the business standpoint, this is not a logical move.

    Just a suggestion. Them saying:

"UK players are allowed to play CFS Qualifiers"

for either NA or EU, would eliminate most of the issue.

Yeah, that would definitely benefit everyone here. Maybe dreams will come true one day! lol
