Take out armour for UK at least
If NA has to get armor for this tourney, why should UK be any different? You can also get armour from coupons ranging from 7 to 30 days. And since you can get coupons from GP crates, I thought it be easy getting armour without having to spend any money on this game.
Since the international tournaments support armour, I think it be best to use armour otherwise, how are the top teams going to play against international teams who are always used to using armour. In my opinion, it be best to use international rules since not only will players adopt to those rules but it will be easier for them in the long run. Not just that but the fact that if we come in the top 3 for CFS, our version will get more attention from the developers in terms of the competitive scene.
For example, look at CF Europe, they came second in CFS 2015 and now they are allowed to host their own invitational tournament (previously done by CF Brazil).
Knowing some peoples luck, it'll take a while to even get 5 coupons. Shame to see the GM's wont provide armor though -

The reason why the UK is different is because they can't participate in any international tournaments therefore, they don't need to follow the international rules. -
Just curious, @Makaveli, did the GM's just straight up say no or did they have any interest in providing codes for future installments of this league
They didn't have a problem providing it for Presidential League or ESG , besides late codes I guess
They said they don't support any leagues at the moment, no mentions of the future. -

exactly if we cant participate in international tournaments ( even though we should ) there's no point in uk players following the international rules and becoming use to the rules. -

Typical Crossfire -
I honestly love the idea of armor, But imo seeing as they are not going to give codes I do not believe it should be implemented until CF starts wanting to save their game and help out community made tournaments. This is my opinion and I respect any others. (It would be a bit different if the prize was bigger which would give a reason to buy the zp for the ac, Not complaining at all, I am happy there is something to play for!

If anyone has issues with signing up or with the anti-cheat PM me or post on this thread so I can assist you.
Btw you have to verify your account through email after creation on Blackbox.
Read my Youtube video description if you can't see the video clearly as it explains the steps. Make sure you follow them carefully and run the anti-cheat correctly otherwise you will be disqualified. That means if you don't hit verify before opening Crossfire you didn't run it properly. -
In my opinion i think the armor should be removed from the NA as well. People of the community have been waiting ages for a league they can participate in fairly and they rarely get a chance to go at it with the big timers. I thiink armor should be removed mainly because it is a community event and not solely for practice for bigger teams. Some people are just trying to have a nice time playing the game because they know they have no shot at cfs right now. i believe there are numerous ways for players with intentions to play in cfs to practice, take clan wars for example, everyone armors, go play there. That just my opinion. would love to hear what you guys got to say.
and for the record, i have armor, i just think its unfair to people who do not have it and play the game for fun. -

You say to go practice in "Clan Wars", yet you forget that NA clan server is no where near populated as it used to be. Not just that, but the fact that there are no rules in clan war so how does that make it fair for the teams who want to practice so they may end up at CFS?
And who wouldn't want to go to CFS given the chance? If I told a team that you got into CFS this year, would they say no? Would they turn down a $700,000 total grand prize tournament? I think not.
In my opinion, NA teams should just adopt to the international rules. Not only will it benefit teams which go to CFS but it will also benefit the competitive scene in CFNA. -

I agree, given their lack of support (@armor codes and lack of prizes) -

yeah alot of people are going to have work on saturday around 4pm and they'll finish at 7pm is there anyway you can change the time? Why should it be so early? Can you atleast make it 7pm so people can come back from work and settle down -

Agreed, 5pm is really early... at least make it 7pm UK time at the same time EGL NA starts. I like the rule "You have 2 roster changes until finals use them wisely" but would suck to get ringers every time, 5pm is early so please consider it. -

LMAO nuff love for our iwhistle bro's -
The anti-cheats behavior causes these false-positives to be set off, rest assured they are nothing to worry about and will do no harm to your computer. Blackbox is verified on Crossfire Brazil and is responsible for holding a few events. As for the timings I've looked at the registration page and so far there is 2 UK teams + 3 NA teams signed up. That's barely any participates if we don't have a decent amount by the registration deadline we will either cancel the tournament or make the ones who show up play a BO3 - to Bo5. Either teams are waiting last minute to sign up, they are having trouble signing up/or with the anti-cheat or the timings don't fit their desire. The timings can be adjusted but we put it as the majority vote asked. Please let me know ASAP because the UK tournament is tomorrow! If we don't get enough participates we will most likely do a bo3 or something then cancel future plans for tournaments.
The timings for the UK tournament will be set to 7 PM UK time. -
