How to revive cf competitive in 5 easy steps
1) Actually pay attention to people trying to revive the game
2) Have cash prizes that can get me more than a couple McDonald trips. Can't fund it? Go to 3)
3) This isn't my idea but make an item, doesn't matter what it is (at this point it could be some purple fluffy dragonfly that spits acid) so long as it costs zp. All of the profit (or ~90% if you're stingy) will go towards the tournament.
4) More LANs. Again if you can't fund it do step 3 I've seen Asians with like 11 of the same VIPS. I'm sure the items in step 3 will eventually (give it a day or two) add up
5) If all of these things go right in order to make crossfire get even bigger
-have better admins that actually know what they're doing. Seriously last WCA I played we had some guy who never touched CF telling us how to solve some problem
-get casters who know what they're doing. Nobody is trying to hear some guy say "HE USE THE SNIPE AND POCK UP KILLL" "OH VERU GOOD SHOT"
If a GM does not want to speak publicly (because I know you guys are reading this) toss me a MSG

The caster should be cowmoo. Peanut is improving aswell so they're good casters -
Toonie already kind of mentioned the item thing to fund tournaments but also CSGO has in-game stickers for players to support their favorite teams they can buy. A percentage of those sales go to those team/players to help them financially this would be great if Crossfire picked up an idea like that. This would interest competitive players to focus more on the game but would require proper tournaments for them to play on a daily scale. Add team skins that people can add on guns or something please.

No offense to either people but I was hoping for someone around gecks or Alan tilts level of castingim planning on starting a tournament for Cash prize but im preparing some things before i officially announce it -
cant put ingame team skins or stickers unless they have a market like steam does buying it for zp wont really work as the gms or whoever they assign will have to manually go through each sale to break down the buy i.e how much to the player/team how much to cf and then ontop of that they will have to make a new code to inspect ingame and apply stickers but i think its a awesome idea and if they do pick that up they need to introduce pop flashes

I'll let you guys in on a little secret, quit the game while your ahead. (actually a lot of you are already ****ing behind)
There is no such thing as a future revival of the competitive scene, nor can any of you help change that. Ever.
Go play a game like CS:GO, it's actually a game that is purposely funded in growing it's own competitive scene.
ive never met you before, but I'm slowly starting to fall inlove with you -
