  • When you idiots say CF is "dead" you're implying that it was alive or thriving at some point.

    LOL NO.

From the looks of things (I don't actually play) there's literally no difference between competitive CF in 2009 vs competitive CF in 2015, the scene has been stagnant. Maybe a lan every year or so, some spin-off leagues that die every month, etc, but that's it.

So the truth is this: You bozos are expecting way too much from an ugly looking free to play computer game. What you have now is the ABSOLUTE PEAK that this game can ever and will ever obtain.

I feel like you said this in 2010? :P

-Generated the most revenue of any F2P game in the world.

-Increasing tournaments and prizes, not just globally but here in NA as well.

    Let me hear your rebuttal.

yes edyoat most revenue because dumbass kids begging preants to buy them items every time new 100 dolar vip gun comes out. cf na makes no where near ur revenue claims china is holded accounted for that cf na = not even 10% but ok mr smart man u the boss. ps smilegate is the "APPLE" of games dumb brand, stupid followers and very low tech cheap chinese garbage. only people donating is people who wast money on bm becuse they think they can win which is being scammed by the korean who lafing ass off at u or dumbs who buy zp lol. think bro. think. btw huge amount of money is made from the freeplayers smilegate crates hack for CF and puts advertsing on it which makes close to 700$ usd per day with over 50k active users wolrdwide so yes.. they realize haker or not people will spend and for those that dont they will spend one way or other... u are the product being sold

please explain what the lack of advertising has to do with players who have played the game for years quitting?

the fact that there's no new players in this game unless they're Egyptian?
Who cares about the people who quit, they're old news. people come and go through games.
If no one knows about the game what makes you think more people would play it or go competitive?
  • TdotAdrian wrote: »
lol if you look at any other f2p game you'll see that the competitive scene is 100% dead
combat arms used to have comp
    sf2 sf1 (sf1 is somewhat around apparently)
all the f2p fps games seem to be struggling in NA

there's plenty of f2p games with a successful long-running competitive scene.

    not fps f2p

Can anyone here please explain to me their reasoning why they believe CF is so called a "dead" game.

-Most concurrent users out of any game in the world.
-Increasing tournaments and prizes, not just globally but here in NA as well.

So other markets success is sole reason z8 isn't closed

    ways we could do that:

    - Branded Pro scene
    - Exclusive Pro team items (Sprays, stickers, guns, etc)
    - Open Trade market so people can bet skins on games (Increased viewers)
    - An esports website / dedicated section that is heavily flowing with content
    - Better marketing and advertising of major competitions
I think all these are great ideas and are where CFNA falls short, but I would go on to include expansion of all other modes as well and focusing on the modes that we already have. If we look at CFAL they have a thriving ghost mode community and numerous teams and tournaments. CFCN is great at hosting events for all of their modes which all have huge turnouts which include events in ZM,HMX,GM and SnD. I think the big problem with CFNA was that nothing was done for a long time and a lot of people have already left for other games that focus on the players more. I think expanding on all these points are important, but the marketing of the game should come first. We need new blood.
  • Yea, too bad the developers are not paying attention to the forums at all, huh? I saw a post on Twitter showing that [GM]Celestine is off in Berlin. No offence... Ah dang it, I think I'm going to get banned for saying that. They say we have what is called freedom of speech, but we have to realize that all kinds of freedom are actually nothing but lies.

edit: sorry totally put this post on the wrong thread.
