/[GAME ERRORS] ALT-Tabbing FPS drop and crash

So,i have a dual monitor setup
1) 1920 X 1080
2) 1280 X 1024
and basically, whenever I'm in a middle of the match, and i decide to alt tab or esc and left click my secound monitor, it minimizes crossfire normally, but when I get back into crossfire it drops my fps to the floor (my usual fps is 200, and it gets down to exactly 20), and after that the game just black-screens and doesnt respond at all , so I have to stop the application with a task manager...
I find this really annoying since i have teamspeak open on my 2nd monitor and when i want to switch rooms or something i cant , because the game will crash...
I read thru some other forums about other games and nobody got to resolve it by neither reinstalling their game , or updating all the devices/graphics card etc, or reinstalling and rebooting windows.. so basically I have no clue how to fix this...
Anybody having the same problem?

Oh yeah, and there was some stuff about that this happens due to old engines that games use or something, but I hope its resolveable and something gets done about it soon...
