I got two things you could try to do:

First thing
1: Go to Task Manager

2: Keep pressing C until you find ' Client MFC Application ' ( Should be the one with the CF Logo) MAKE SURE CROSSFIRE IS NOT OPEN WHILE YOU DO THIS IT SHOULD BE THERE WHEN CROSSFIRE IS CLOSED THAT MEANS YOU SHOULD DELETE IT!

3: Delete it

4: Start up Crossfire again


Second thing

Reinstall Crossfire

Delete Crossfire, Start computer in safe mode, delete register keys.

Does this problem still persist?

Step 3 is usually caused by bad Internet connections or the connection from you to x-trap/hgwc being interfered with. For example a firewall blocking the connection to xtrap.xt stopping the patch from running or updating the client.

If you have an additional firewall like COMDO i would suggest putting it into "game mode" whilst launching Cross Fire, for anything else disable it. Use speedtest to determine the speed of your internet connection then post back:

OK so i get it why this is doesn't work. Problem in proxy blocking my network. Maybe somebody know what kind of proxy can be in this case. I check in another network and its worked.
