Failed to connect to server

When I start up crossfire, the loading screen shows then it justs gives message:

"Failed to connect to server"

Also, a week ago I had been banned for hacking even though I didn't hack. I don't even know how to hack games, any ways.

I am not banned anymore and I was playing crossfire this morning, but now I get error message when I start up the game.

How do I fix it?
