As mentioned in the other thread you made. The forums cannot help you.

You must submit a support ticket.

Chances are he was banned for the use of a hack program. Which also could have included sight overlays and farm bots available from hack websites.

If he was banned for hacking there is nothing we can do.

A clean, unmodified version of CrossFire will not result in you being banned, even if you try and ctrl-alt-delete the game.

Evidently, as shown by the multiple threads made by myself, warhawk, and others, people are being banned for no reason, perhaps having something to do with Windows XP. Either way, I can promise you my friend is 100% legit and was banned unfairly, losing his honorable soldier ribbon in the process.

The friend i am talking about is 2k.Mvp. He has competed at high levels of CrossFire since 2009, such as playing for SNSD in Wogl under the name "Byuntaeng". Hopefully his account, as well as the others wrongly banned, can be compensated in some way, preferably by the removal of the ban and the reinstatement of the honorable soldier ribbon.

Also, here is a video made by "John Williams": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRMCBcvh6zU
  • looks like z8 needs to take another look at windows xp users being banned

just to clear this up some people dont understand where the ban comes in, after that video if i would of relaunched crossfire and tried logging into the game again it would of came up banned 3days (72 hours). Forgot about that part when i made the video with all the stuff going on and no sleep. Z8Games knows the problem and are trying to verify if the problem is as some of us are saying "xp". The problem is tho, that many players are claiming they have winxp just cause they seen all of this and are prob gonna be installing it just to try to evade a ban.
  • Let me tell u something KILLA
This might be hard for u to understand but this has effected honest people that didnt cheat..so instead of coming up with ideas of what others would do focus on the issue...or

You know how many people should be banned for using mods? That doesn't even make sense.
    because this.

In addition, we have increased our HGW bans to include any files we find which aide players contained on hacking websites. As we've done in the past for farming tools, we are now addressing every file found on major hacking websites in order to continue to frustrate users and cause problems for those communities and players.
  • I'm not banned but how do you explain that only Windows XP has banned ? to try some of GM to play on Win. XP, is simple to know the truth. You have to admit that Xp has created a global problem.
Many software, not develop updates for XP, Xtrap has a problem. Why even the day Microsoft announced it no longer supports.

Okay... Doesn't explain why completely legit players, without any history of going onto hacking websites are banned.
  • I didn't get banned. never have. want to know why? because i'm legit. I bet if you got banned, you deserved it.
  • They know the ban issue right now with the OS Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Give them some time to fix and solve this situation.

+1 most likely it's true, no reason not block! Now everyone is starting to come up in the windows XP but the reason why you are then to farm? program and used for farming.
Before that I could not play because it was impossible to some hackers but now after updating everything is just perfect no not one hacker THANKS

We can only hope for the best. However, I doubt that the effected accounts will get any sort of compensation, just a loss of a honorable soldier ribbon for no reason.
