No Gunfire Sounds

I just Downloaded crossfire and when i started playing.. i realized it was so quiet, only radio signals and no gun firing sound so i checked the setting but still no sounds. I deleted crossfire and downloaded it again, but it was the same thing... Can somebody help me?

I have radio and background music off, just regular sounds on.
