Are you downloading and installing a fresh copy before patching or just patching the client?

If this is the "fresh copy" route, you may need to start the setup file with administrator permission (right click the setup)

fresh copy each time same error been uninstalling and reinstalling since my last post same error...

I remember constantly getting this error about 2 or 3 years ago. I couldn't find a proper solution, but continuously closing and opening the patcher after every error helped me getting through it.

What you can do is download the downloader & setup file from a different computer that wouldn't have this issue...

Then transfer over the specific setup application back to your computer to then try and complete the process.
