When I launch cf, it always comes up with the following xtrap message:
08-0400-00000000-515
Some functions of the operating system have been corrupted. Please, close any program which is affecting game client and restart the system.

Site: Crossfire North America
I searched this problem up, and it seems like its a windows 8.1 update problem, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and also deupgrading the system but those didn't seem to work.
Please help, because I know it not only is me who is getting this error!
