HDMI issue, game crashes/wont load

I just bought a HDMI cable !!!

I switched off my computer then plugged the HDMI cable instead DVI cable ...

launched my computer login to windows ... i can see the difference of the quality on my desktop background image but !!!

When i launch crossfire after the launcher i get this error



Does someone know what happend ?

Update graphic card drivers first of all.

Then plug it in with DVI, change Crossfire to Windowed Mode and 1250 (or something, at least change it) resolution in options.
Then try again with HDMI. Apparently HDMI causes issues for a lot of people, if you go here and click "Search This Forum" on the right hand side, and enter "HDMI", you'll see a few threads possibly relating to your issue.

There should be no difference in the image quality between DVI and HDMI unless your DVI cable was broken - it´s the same digital picture signal !

(Maybe your old DVI was a DVI-A or DVI-I cable and you have used a analog connection...)

I don´t think this error is because of your new cable ...it´s CF... maybe you used a not HDMI conform resolution ingame (HDMI can´t handle all PC resolutions...)

Haha I have no idea, I took it from a search result thread where a guy said changing it to that worked for him.

i went into the catalyst control center settings then i change few things then my game has launched

yes it is !!! but my FPS decreased is it normal ? im about 100 and 150 fps agains't 200 and over with the dvi cable
