Unplayable
I could point out that there are 2-3 cheaters every pub.
But I won't.
I could complain and berate z8games for letting the situation degenerate into this.
But I won't.
I could complain about the sheer unplayable nature of the game currently (due to the aforementioned cheaters).
But I won't. Okay, maybe I will. Either way, you've certainly heard the same, sorry story trundled out a hundred-dozen times.
So, instead, I'll ask a question.
Why is it that xTrap cannot "keep up" with the current cheats? That is to say, why is it that I can very distinctly remember a period of a month or so where xTrap patched daily -- and, more to the point, why is that no longer an option? And, if it is an option, why is it no longer occurring?
I went into this patch, as I presume many people did, with the assumption that there would be a brief period where cheaters would be gone. That tends to be true of every "major" patch -- a period of a week or two before cheats become a severe issue again. So, the patch came around, and I was feeling good about finally being able to practice. I logged off of the game, and logged on the next day. I played a couple of pubs, and logged off. Our team practiced that evening, and I hopped on to warm up.
I couldn't find a single pub without someone shooting through walls. This is -- mind you -- less than 24 hours after the game was back up-and-running.
Now, that is not to say that every single person who plays this game cheats. Not at all. It tends to be the same group of 15-20 people on each channel who flit from room to room, absolutely ruining the experience for anyone there. These people range in denomination, from those who have under 50 ping, to those who have over 200. There could be a whole dissertation on why they aren't kicked -- from linguistic barriers, to cultural norms, to a simple misunderstanding of talent versus cheats or a desire to win. However, the fact of the matter is that the few who do cheat, are not kicked; these few make the whole unmanageable.
I simply don't understand. I'm not expecting you to wave a magic wand, and make everyone who cheats disappear. I'm not expecting you to suddenly solve all of the coding problems with the engine which make it easily exploitable. I understand that you're "doing everything you can". I'm simply frustrated, and hoping to grasp the underlying issues here. I'm looking for a concrete response, nothing more.
What is "Everything we can"? What does that entail? Can you honestly say that you expect things to get better? If so, then howso? Why cannot it be done immediately?
Here's hoping that you respond quickly,
Reid

Why is it that xTrap cannot "keep up" with the current cheats?
Because the guys that hack. Dont use Xtrap, They have a hack that cuts it off.
The game engine is so old, there is nothing they can do. Hacks are easily made for this game engine.
This is the state of the game nothing will change..... -
This game is full with egypts, arabs and stuff like that. It is almost impossible, to play some rounds CF without meeting a hacker. Thats why I think about to quit the game. The Gamemasters should ban all arabs to return to the good old days.
Otherwise, CF will loose a lot of loyal members and customers. -
Iam with the ****ing idea of banning all Egyptians although i disagree with Arabs because Iam an Arab and I haven't used a hack since year and half since i was a noob and got banned for a couple days then i stopped. the best solution is updating the game`s engine

Well i am half white and half persian, and i still agree with the arab/turk/egy ban, for several reasons.
a)They always try to kick legit players that play better then them WITHOUT hack, jus to keep their low skill rewarded.
b)They always have bad pings, i had seen 800ms pings, that just kills the gameplay experience
c)They are the bigger hack users in this game.
d)When they cheat they have no respect for no one, so that kind of behavior should be heavily punished (perm ban, the fast as possible).
Adding all of this, i do agree with the ideia.
Probably there are a few that are good people and legit players, but i would dare to say that if i seen one, i would have been blind on that day.
