Claims I have a hack tool?

When I load up the game, it says I have a hack tool, of which I do not have or have ever downloaded any hacks for any PC game, period. It gives me short bans and then lets me in, but the whole ordeal bothers me.

Yeah I'm getting this problem too. Start CF, enter a room, and then suddenly blocked for no reason before I can join the game. At the moment it's more trouble than it's worth, even if you do manage to get online for a few minutes, the game is buggy as hell. There's no sound except for that of your own weapon, half of the textures are missing in some maps/modes, and you'll be getting "hack tool detected" in no time while the enemies are shotgunning you through walls with no troubles.

its just an error it goes away just logg back on after the timer, youll still be able to access the game

after that banned from servers for 4 mins
start again and all go fine again

started with new patch.
clean install doesn't solve it

So, everytime this happens will the timer go up by like 1 minute? I am getting 5 minutes now and its ****ing me off...I an worried about my account getting banned for ever without even doing anything

every new update/patch. I get the same thing every time. "Hack Tool" detected 2 - 5 min ban. Pointless and farken annoying considering the ban time.

Is it really worth discriminating players?

Hack tool detected on non hacker users, yet there are tons of them hack like madness in game. Please fix it soon.

All these noobs posting stuff and whining.

It's a minor connectivity issue. Usually it's just a temporary 5 minute ban. If your internet is bad, it might happen more frequently. Otherwise, treat it as a common occurrence and roll with it.

Its not a connectivity issue -_-

In that case it would say and I quote "Disconnected from Server" And then put you in server selection and same error message displays. Get your facts straight.

In this case it says and I quote "Hack Tool has Been Detected(1) Blocked for (0:5:0:0)"
It happens several times a day and is not connectivity it happens no matter what connection you have LAN, WiFi, or otherwise. And heres proof.

Same error occurs with me but for some reason it doesn't affect my alternate account, hoping for a fix. :c

Edit: Never mind, just tested my alt and the same error came up.....

Simple solution, Quit.

I get this error every 15 min to a half hour it is bullS***.

And I have the 20 screenshots to prove it.

I have gotten this error about 15 times today and mostly while playing WAVE mode. It's getting annoying. hope this gets fixed ASAP.

I'm so glad I'm not alone. I've been getting this error all day and it's been driving me up the wall!
I tried restarting my computer.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing.
Both didn't work.

I hope a GM sees this so things can get sorted out.

I figured out the problem for myself and most likely it may apply to you.

Did you recently start up your cpu before running crossfire?

if yes,remember that Xtrap is a software engineered to detect malicious software or any excessive access to your computers RAM. On start up of a computer, any setup or .exe can easily trigger the excessive RAM access and cause the fail-safe protocol from Xtrap to occur.

Solution: Open your computer maybe 5-10 minutes before you plan to start and do something else like empty your bladder or bowels. Once you return, most or maybe all start up .exe's should be finished and you can run CF without "HackTool Detected (1) 0:5:0:0"

Otherwise, you probably have hacking software you downloaded. Delete them! Just so you're not running them doesn't mean Xtrap cant detect them. Besides, haking isn't cool

Hack tool detected is a response to modem tapping. It is designed to "kick" people out of the game who modem tap to get an advantage. The only solution to it right now is to not have any internet spikes.

i have had this problom for 4 days now and i hate hackers is rilly ****ing me off. they better fix soon. y even play game if u hack ... it's a game so play or get off. I'm not a hack and if this game keeps calling me one I'll find some other to play and spend my $ thare!

Just bumping this thread.

I'm on Rochester Institute of Technology's network, a LAN line, an average ping of 20 to Toronto. Never had a problem before some of the more recent patches.

Now, once a day, I'll get in game. Before even joining a game, I'll be booted with the message. After the 5 minutes is up, I can log in and play without issue, for hours at a time. I once left the client connected for 18 hours with no recurrance. Yet, logging in later that day, I got the same message.

The more active forum is crossfire.
Arcane Hearts and Lost Saga not have demand.
Two options or the team of CF apply for fix and protect the best game for z8games.com or choice focus in more games.
The game really have bad updates in website (never end the guide for Weapons for example) and now have a horrible patch, and a lot of rackers.... every day the game is more less atractive.
