FIFA isn't a league, I don't get how you could come up with such an irrelevant comparison. The stanley cup goes to the winner of the NHL playoffs, the world cup is something different entirely. Regardless, my point wasnt to be taken to such a literal extent, I was merely trying to prove that observing top tier individuals in their craft is not showing the desire to become a wannabe. Aside from the point, there was a miscommunication in our definitions of a "league"
I categorize it as a conjuction of teams consistin of players who compete against one another to reach some standing, prize, w.e. Didnt realize that there was such a criteria for being labled as a league -

Let me simplify this for you.
NFL,NHL,NBA are leagues based in the U.S
Fifa on the other hand, is the worldwide soccer association which hosts the world cup. Like it was stated earlier, Europe has UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and MLS has CONCACAF.
Fifa = world wide association for soccer
NBA,NFl,NHL= Leagues in the U.S -
