Ehhh not really. I guess it depends on the precinct or local police department and/or their regulations and how strict they are/would be about it.

I've heard in a couple towns here in Texas the most they'd do, if intoxicated in public and not making any escalating mess, the local sheriff would also drive them home or put them in the drunk tank till the morning.

I guess it's a bit different for more urban areas.

I dont would be travel for a gift from 10,000 $ Dollar to Texas, all have there guns and all are crazy cowboys and the law is crazy too.. im happy to live in Europe.

That's an interesting perspective too.

Reminds of that hoax done by a waitress to claim a a family was homophobic towards her and refused to tip her... which was subsequently proved as a lie.
The waitress posted an image, and so did the family.

Yea I can see how it could be misleading to just take the photo for granted.
