What software do you use a lot?
Built a new desktop. I'm trying to come up with a list to install before I dive into video games before even optimizing it's uses.
Intel Core i5-4670K CPU
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Series 4x2GB(8GB) 1600MHz RAM 8CAS
Samsung 840 Pro Series 512GB SSD
Sapphire Radeon R9-290X GPU
Keeping the SuperNova 750W PSU, Fractal Design Define R4 Case, and Dell UltraSharp 24' IPS monitor from my last build as well as keyboard and mouse.
Currently this is what I got.
Ccleaner
For registry cleaning and stuff.
Comodo Cleaning Essentials
Some extra security tools.
Comodo Dragon
A friend suggested this browser over Chrome. I’ll have to try it out.
Comodo Firewall
Some extra user-interaction with a good firewall.
Comodo Programs Manager
I download things and uninstall 5 minutes later quite a lot. This seems better than Window’s default.
DropBox
Mostly for Minecraft stuff.
FeedTheBeast
Minecraft.
FileZilla
For my websites.
Freemind
This seems more convenient than taking notes in Notepad.
Google Chrome
Gonna keep this just in case Comodo Dragon doesn’t work out.
Malwarebytes
Routine malware scans.
Minecraft
Title says it.
Mozilla Thunderbird
Better time management. Not going to spend money for Outlook.
Mumble
Mostly Minecraft servers.
Notepad++
Web development and Minecraft server file configurations.

Who doesn’t Skype?

Check temps.
Steam
More video games.
TeamSpeak
Mostly FPS games and clan chats.

Must have utility.

I bet you running them all on a unknown linux variant right? because Windows is way to commercialized.
