Torrenting games and software is indeed illegal, but the websites that provides the torrents are still up. Your ISP either calls or sends a letter giving you one, final, warning before they end service with you. If they end their service with you, there is a possibility of them contacting an agency to confiscate your computer, but is very rare.zealot3333 wrote: »TBH, I'm a little scared of the consequences. That feel when you torrent since LimeWire days and when you'd download a song, you'd get Bill Clinton advertising instead. Haven't gotten a single warning or fine. The reason why most people get caught is because they seed their torrents 24/7 without masking their IPs or using a foreign VPN

That is why there are things called Maintenance and patches. The beta is for people to try it out and find bugs. Then the release happens. It's not final because it receives patches and maintenance. A game that receives maintenance means it's not final. After a while, the game will become final, and if there are bugs, that doesn't mean it's not complete. -
