assasins creed!

So I got ACII ffree through the Xbox gold promotion, and it is amazing! An old game but the story was so intense and amazing! And now I have to buy/know the others too! fak. So can someone sum up AC1 and tell me if it is worth getting brotherhood and revelations or skipping ahead to AC4?

  • If you are interested in the storymode you should play
    Both, brotherhood and revelations.

not a big fan of AC3 but it
really comes down to personal taste.
  • I heard brotherhood doesn't focus much on the central story, instead focusing on a side thing. I might just skip them all and go to AC4.
  • An old game?
GTA Vice City is imo an old game, but not AC II?

  • You should play all of them. Revelations is related to A1(it makes things clearer and tells more about Altair)
Brotherhood is a big part of Ezio's story and also a great game. Sadly it's a bit short compared to the other parts.
I really liked A3, great gameplay.
The first part might look boring after you played A2, but you should still go for it if you want to understand the whole story.
I didn't play A4 yet, I'm not even sure if it's released yet.

No I was going to per-order. Yeah, revelations is something I really hope to get. Currently I have been looking for a very cheap copy.

At least 80% of the games I have pirated, are the ones that I have on Steam now.
For example I pirated AC and ACII, and I liked them, but I didn't like them that much to buy them on Steam. On the other hand, Bioshock, Max Payne, Max Payne II, I did buy them.

I only go there to download stuff, not really to watch some ****s
  • It was a joke. Meh, I don't like it. I don't want to Pirate a game and end up with huge consequences.

Hardly anyone gets fined for it...

As far as I know.. at least by UK law anyway... you get one warning before you get fined.

yeah same in the U.S., usually get a warning in the mail, although if you torrent on a public network such as a university, they will go after the university with fines, so now most universities block or track it, my friend was caught on the university network and she was required to a take small class on why piracy is bad.. LOL
  • If you want to keep with the story. I suggest that you get them all. But i will give you a feedback of every game in short versions(except the ac2) But it will be too long to read

    Assassin's creed 1

Story: Ac1 is the first game. Protagonist is Desmond Miles who relives the memories of Altair(yey meeee) and you're helping templars that should they search for the Apple of Eden there or not.(cuz on the last scene you kill Al-mualim and you think it's best to destroy the apple but it ends there)

Gameplay: Now i wouldn't say that is bad but in asssassin's creed 1 you have to reach your "skills" after you was demoted cuz you compromised the Creed.
You have 4 big major cities: Acre, Jerusalem, Damscus and Masyaf.
In each city you will have some tasks(bad thing is only Masyaf is at start of the game after you was "dead")
Just remember not to fall in the water cuz Altair can't swim there cuz of the Animus bug and it was the early development of assassin's creed and they didn't know how to do it.

My opinion: Game is ok, yes sometimes you will freak out cuz of beggers, pushers and stupid guards. But for me this game is best cuz it is amazing game and my childhood game. ^^

    Assassin's creed Brotherhood

Story: You're now assassin Desmond Miles(some people will say he was always an assassin). Yes he was an assassin but he did denied his heritage. You're hidding from the templars cause they want something that you have it and that is your memory of the next "protagonist" Ezio but the templars are aware of the Desmond progress cause Lucy is actuly the Templar or should i say sleeping agent. You're still trying to understand the Subject 16 messages to Desmond and hoping that you should understand how to fight against the Templars.
Inside of animus you're reliving the memories of Ezio Auditore da Firenze and fight against Borgia influence in the Rome. Who is in possessed of Apple of eden and you want to establish the Brotherhood there and help those who are victims of the Borgia Family.

Gameplay: I will say that gameplay is passive and it's much better progress on combat then on AC2. Even for the first time we finaly can create own assassins(it will take you a while but the best is result at end).

My opinion: Game is great. Specialy when you can visit "old" Rome. I was even in Rome and yea the game was made detailed same as in the real life :) Even tough some parts i didn't even remembered during the playing the game and going there visiting the city of Rome in real life. Cuz alot was changed and i wish i could just go back in time and see how life really was.

    Assassin's creed Revelations

Story: After for the first time you used the apple's power. You vent into the coma. But for the first time you can talk with digital version of Subject 16 who is living inside of you. He explains that you're mind is broken cuz too many memories he didn't relive and he must seperate them by reliving the Altair's and Ezio's memory till they both have nohting else to show him.
Inside of guts of the animus (how did Clay(subject 16) said). You are still reliving the Ezio and you're fighting against the templars who want to know about the the Grand temple which contain something that they could use it and they need 5 masyaf keys to get it. It's the race against time and it's up to Ezio to get them all.

Gameplay: Much has changed since of ACB. They did add some new cool features (defending den and hookblade(i will only mention that)). Combat is changed alot and there is alot of thing to do. But it's fun to run with hookblade and kill guards.

My opinion: great game, alot of new things. Only few thing will "kill" your mind: Beggers(again -sigh-), novice templars trying to kill you(loot them they give you 1k of money) and last and not least guards. But fun is to steal money from people and do the hand to hand combat.

last and not least Assassin's creed 3

Story: Desmond is awake from "coma" and he acts more mature then he was before. Templars are still searching for them and they are aware of the apple of eden. He also is inside what was desire of the templars: Grand temple. But he wants to know what "Gods"(i won't spoil you way too much) want from him to find out there and how can he help saving the world from destruction.
Inside of animus you relive two persons. Haytham Kenway who was an assassin and now he serve to the Templars. Who searchs for grand temple(they did find it out that is somewhere near the America) and wants to find what is inside of it.
    And
Connor Kenway. A fellow assassin who wants to kill Charles Lee cause he thinks he burned the village and responsible for death of his mother.
Not to mention trying to prove that everyone have their own will to choose what they want to do and not to be controlled by Templars.

Gameplay: Finaly america what people did vote for the assassin's creed game. Game is great but there are some Fps drops in game and that is what did made me wth part. About combat everything is changed. Still yet game is perfect to play cause you can see the change of weather, people are not anymore "dumb" and the ai is different.Yet still guards are easy to manipulate and they are using new engine.

My opinion: Game worth to buy. Everything is perfect except fps drop in the Boston.

I hope that this did gaved you alot of time to think about which game to buy.
If you still need something to know feel free to PM me. I will give you everything what i know about the Assassin's creed game.
  • My favourites were AC2 and Revelations, 3 was pretty cool with the new time, different enviroment and new system for combats.
  • Yeah well I will probably go for AC4. I desperately want to finish the Ezio trilogy but AC4 looks to sweet.

It would be better that you keep up with story. If you go straight to ac4 it would be confusing for you.
  • I still don't like the fact that AC: Black Flag was realeased right after ACIII. It took them no time to release the game.

Yes you're right but i think that the story concept was based on the memory of Connor cuz there was not much time to play as others Assassin's. They wanted to save the world and Animus did synchronised with Juno, Minerva and Jupiters warnings. Now since Desmond is dead we will relive the 2 or 3 assassin's more with Desmond's DNA. We will play as modern assassin's inside of the Abstergo industries(probably).
  • I just finished AcII...
    What the actual fck?

No cursing lol and it's up to you that if you want to play others ac games. But Ac4 will be brilliant. :)
    That i can promise :)

play now revelations. Cuz if you start acIII you would be confused(little bit)
  • Went from killing romans to meeting a not-god in 3 minutes. wat.

    And yes, AC4 looks amazing.

That is Minerva what you speaking off. That is the warning part( assassin's creed 2). What they did tried to do. Minerva's apperence is also in AC3.
I won't spoil you the game but i suggest that you go play every assassin's creed game in order. Cause i went from ac1 to brotherhood and i didn't understand half of the things.
