Allowing signature pictures?

Shouldn't they be allowed? We are allowed an avatar and profile picture, why not a signature one?

Because it takes away from the forums. Z8Games' forums look nice how they are, don't start allowing trash pictures that will require long hours of moderation and a plethora of infractions.

It's bad enough people abuse the IMG bbcoding by posting images of nude fornicating men as a measure of trolling on alternate accounts.

I wish I had my 28 karma, I was so close to getting an img signature on the Subagames forums and then BAM, gone!

We don't have the manpower currently to constantly keep an eye on everyone's signature. While we agree we'd like it to be personalized, we have enough trouble with people keeping acceptable avatars and regular posts/threads. It's easier for us to eliminate a possible and plausible issue at it's source rather than having to constantly answer to reports of "this person's sig is violating the rules," as it's not as easy as deleting posts.

I think we give enough personal fru-fru with the pretty colors and fonts.
