    why would they?

they'll certainly raise hell, but 90 days and a couple of drones is ample time and resources to level what needs leveling.

aint like they're looking to take down Syria, they're looking to take down wep depots and key figures, just like in Libya but less messy.
they'll need to protect the infrastructure cause rebuilding oil rigs, lines and such cost a bit.

boots on the ground is so '04.
  • Title should be corrected to US government. Last I checked, most of this country opposed to the "war".

how do you know it will be less messy? how to take mus****/sarin depots with drones? there will be boots at some point.

regime and/or rebells will possibly blow up more sarin near civilian areas, blaming it on US Attacks.

US Allies in the middle east will become targets. Iran Israel conflict might heat up even more.

i don't recall the specifics about libya, but i expect there is even more un consensus about syria.

there won't be boots, not american boots.
but needless to say america can "advise" france/UK to dispatch boots.

"remote" storage locations will simply be blown up using appropriate munitions to keep the structure relatively intact.

less remote locations would probably be dealt with by removing the defenses and having boots clear it or simply defend it from above - the shelf life of sarin is pretty weak so 90 days is very sufficient.

hah yeah, of course they will. its not a concern.

middle east doesn't interest me much.
how russia reacts is far more relevant.
they already have a military presence around syria - base even - and it'd be easy enough to blame rebels if they 'accidentally' shot down a few drones.

i think we'll get some solid drama out of this. good fun!

oh france will be soo freaking happy to get in there. they love it! and it´s good that way, so mideuropeans can experience some drama too.

I just mentioned the iran-israel conflict because of it´s close proximity.

of course russia will an even greater concern...

two generations without a global war, don´t want that to change anytime soon. let´s see what happens..

my idea of "good fun" is slightly divergent to yours :D

i love drama and this war won't touch me more than a slight immigration wave.

    covered. so its all good!

won't have to read articles about "how to lose 2 pounds a week" or "the best tire for your car" for a while.

    60 to 90 days?
More like 30 years stealing there soil

    I thought that was funny.

I just have to admire optimists. Even when it comes to war you find positives
    to feel good about!:D

Are you seriously kidding? Do you really want to wipe that many people from the face of the planet? Ruin that place? Ruin the environment there? Dumbest comment ever.
    Want my honest opinion?

Should just bomb the whole middle east and be done with it.

it's funny because israel did literally steal soil from those regions
    Want my honest opinion?

Should just bomb the saudi arabia and be done with it.

fixed it for you, that's the only country that has not been in a total mess, they are extremely quiet, have not had many wars in the last century, but are making trillions off oil those years, constantly are purchasing arms from germany, that is the country that is behind all of this and should be "concerned" about, they are funding everything, their money can be traced back to buying politicians in the white house for almost all evil legislature.

    This is true..............
  • I don't think any country should be bombed just like this. It is literally killing millions of civilians. I mean, if the US loses 4 people, it's all over the news. Lose a million, and it's a statistic at the bottom of a news feed. We shouldn't bomb anything for no reason like this, especially THEIR civil war! Bombing the middle east is stupid, many of my family members live there too. Certain known military compounds sure, but leveling the area? No! And what I meant by environment was radiation surely to be released.

why would they just get rid of chemical weapons while keeping the people who thinks its okay to produce and use them?

of course we're not convinced which side is using, but none the less

not sure if they produced them, i do believe saddam gave them to syria before the iraq war along with his plethora of gold.
  • America is hiding behind peace they say we are getting in syria for peace but Reality they will DESTROY it I know you Know we all know .

    excellent. go for it fellas

As long as Sweden remains neutral they can bomb whoever they want xD

    sarin doesn't store for years.
syria made it, be it rebels or assad.

i thought they store it as a binary compound to increase shelf life and can be combined later for use
  • i thought they store it as a binary compound to increase shelf life and can be combined later for use
i thought the compounds themselves were.. fragile
alrighty, guess it might have been saddam then.

    bad, bad man.
  • At least they're not deploying any ground troops or that would mean teaming up with members of Al Queada since they are also fighting for the rebels too.

yeah this has been a big deal for a while. few american soldiers want to fight FOR AQ since Iraq.

we'll see if 'bama addresses it on tuesdays oval office speech.
  • I think that all of you need to shut up if you don't know what is going on in Syria ...
I am Syrian and i know what is happening there ...
it is only a fckin dictator kill his people so there is no need to say that we are rebels or terrorist we are only people who want their freedom like any other country get their freedom
