What do you guys think about Hearing Loss?

Hey Guys,

I know this is probaly an crazy thing to post on CF but i'll do it anyways. So I want your input.

What do you guys think about Hearing Loss? Some countries among the world call it a disability?

What do you guys think about Hearing loss being called a disability? Agree or not? Please say why.

i don't understand the question.
of course its a disability, as in a standard human ability you don't have.



i think it has its benefits though, and is probably the thing i could do the easiest without.
smell, touch, sight etc would be a lot worse - i think. all my senses are perfectly intact so i don't know, and can't imagine, short of closing my eyes or wearing earplugs.

It is pretty much a disability. Disability means that something can't be done because of something, sort of like an obstacle that prevents you from doing something you want to do. Like to hear, you need your ears to function.

Personally, that is my disability. I'm deaf in my left ear and I can only hear with my right ear.

Deaf would be the easiest for the simple fact only thing that would drive me crazy is not hearing music. But with music you can feel it. So it evens out.

Yes its a disablility.
