Heres a pro tip for you all.
If you keep forgetting your password...
Write the damn thing down...
Someone robbing you will not be looking for your passwords so you legit have no reason not to do so.
Siblings? Then just write the password on a piece of paper and hide it... theyre not going to know what a random word on a random piece of paper will mean and what its for if they do find it.

No matter how many times we say it, you will get many threads saying "I forgot my password." Yeah some simple common sense goes a long way. -
giggle trolling hard!
of course never write passwords down, but create ones you can actually remember.
for example, my password
I like crossfire very much 2009 Ilcvm2%%9
I am a noob because I write my Password on a piece of paper for everyone to see

people can't remember passwords, as is evident by the tech support section.
password managers are pointless for some people.
physical notes are perfectly safe with some common sense.

well, if I was a burglar, I`d be sure to try those post-it digits with the bankcard I found in the wallet next to it.
sure, it`s a common sense thing.
yeah, correcthorsebatterystaple is still a bit better than Tr0ub4dor&3.
for important accounts I use something like this
however, I`d rather train my brain than write passwords down, but people should decide for themselves.
z8 password is the weakest I have currently. 22 Minutes using a mac book. -

I just put them in my BlackBerry in Password Vault -

Well, theres a huge different between doing a brute-force against a live website and getting the hash and bruteforcing locally or against RTs.
And they don't have the hash or the salt, so realistically its not an issue at all.
Someone is going to notice fifty login attempts a second, if the servers could manage that - which they can't.
statistically next to impossible for it to take 22 minutes though, the last password available to check out of 5^50 (or however long your password is) combinations will never be the right password.
It would be somewhere in between.
(useless post, had to write it)
