Visiting the USA. Any tips?

I am going to visit the almighty US of A from the 20th of september till the 6th of october. I shall be staying at a good friends house in Baltimore - Maryland. Mostly going to help out with his house since he's finishing building his own place.
I already have 2 other things in my mind to do when I am there. 1 is going to Wilkes-Barre PA to visit the town where my fav. band is from (Breaking Benjamin). I already know a record store I will visit but don't know any other things to go see to be fairly honest.
2nd is visiting a friend in Whitewater Wisconcin. It's quite a drive from Baltimore but it'll be worth it.
Do you guys have any other tips or things I should see/visit when I'm going to Wilkes-Barre or Whitewater? Perhaps some cool sightseeing things along those drives?
Is there anything else I should be worried about or pay attention to when I'm there? (as an European).
Give me your ideas and I'lll think about em

Well I live in Manitowoc, Wisconsin (which is 2 hours away from Whitewater). There is a Car Ferry that goes from my town to across Lake Michigan, which is a neat.

There are several players around Whitewater, Nick, Ryan, Chris, etc. More players are in the Chicago area. -

On your way to Wisconsin, visit Chicago. In Baltimore, go check out the National Aquarium. Stay away from the streets with abandoned houses. Make sure you visit Washington DC. There are tons and tons of museums there as well as the beautiful Potomac River. For seeing Potomac I recommend either going to Harpers Ferry or Great Falls. Near great Falls there are some nice trails to hike on and view the scenery. This is from personal experience so don't question me.

I've got somebody to pick me up from Newark Airport already so that's no biggy. The place I am staying is called Reistertown I believe
I will visit Wilkes-Barre for a day and the trip to Whitewater Wisconsin is unsure but I will most likely go anyway. It's a 12 hour drive so I will stop along the way but I'll spend at least 1 whole day there I guess.
I don't plan on visiting any CF players, since I doubt anyone on these forums actually knows who I am (apart from a handful of american players).

. Newark is only a 30 min drive from my house and u should come sleep over
