Help me Quick X-Trap/HGW Gamewatcher Stops Updating

- So I just downloaded crossfire and everything works fine. Until X-Trap and Gamewatcher stopped updating so I waited for about 20mins just for some luck, and it's stuck on 723kb/1263kb.

- So after 3 striahgt hours on researching this on Google and nothing popped up except for X-trap errors and what not. So after minutes of wasting my time , I restarted my laptop and try it again and its still stuck. So I clicked on Gamewatcher, a message pops up and it says "________. stopped responding, Close Program." I closed it. Opened Crossfire up and the same messaged popped up.

- So SOMEONE HELP ME !!!! T.T

Wait...

Now it stops reponding at 892kb instead of 723kb

Close the programm.
Go to the XTrap folder in your CF game directory/folder and delete the file "XTrap.xt".

Try again these steps if don´t work the first time...maybe it needs a few times until everything goes well.

If that don´t work delete all the files in the XTrap folder and try again...

It still doesn't load. Is it because its on windows 8?

İ have windows 7 and my friends but we have the same problem.
