Get to know in E8
Hi everyone, I heard a lot of sayings that in "echo server-channel 8" or best known as "E8" is where you find competitive teams and elite players. So i left my pub clan a week ago and started a journey on the said server and this is what i got http://tinypic.com/r/veqlci/5
I was actually bragging about the score since its my first time in echo8 pubbing but i was surprised when some good/elite players in e8 saying score dont matter so I listen and ask them. They told what matter, is the way I play in a team and how i play the team strategies. So they give me advice is to join a competitive team in echo 8 and do some scrims or ring for a team. I was once a pub player which i dont know rules on E8. But now Im ready to test if how I play in a competitive field. So how would i scrim or ring? and what scrim and ring is? sorry for a newbie questions.

Welcome!
To answer your question about scrimming and ringing, basically,
Scrimming is practicing 5v5, your team against another team. Scrim rules mimic tournament rules, like WCG, ESG, or OCG. Scrimming is just playing against another team for practice.
Ringing is filling in for a missing player on another team. When a team's player is missing they look for a ringer. To ring you can spam ringing in the E8 lobby or wait till someone needs one.
I suggest you post a looking for team thread and take any offer and get used to playing competitive.
Good luck
edit: what snitch said -.- -
