New Echo 8 New Pub Rooms Idea

I have an idea that would make pubbing much funner for everyone someone makes a room called "Pug Room 1 [BlackWidow]" for example and its a 5 v 5 room 7 rounds 1st person view and you play 2 halfs just like you would in a scrim players go to whichever side they feel like and then someone else makes another room called "Pug Room 2[Port] and the game has the same 5 v 5 setting and 7 rounds its like a scrim but with no mumble or anything you just type in team chat starts and calls also if the Room name is for example "Pug Room 3[Ceyhen]" Then the map must stay as ceyhen its kind of like ESEA on cs go on css but for crossfire and we should also get some rules in this i'm thinking Summer Tournament Rules Or Rise Tournament rules:

I agree with you but the concept of this whole idea is amazingly done; thank you for your ideas. This idea can also promote E8 to other members and will encourage more people to join our E8 community.

I think with all due respect this idea will draw people, in fact if you have a small group that goes around channels such the us south server, alpha, beta etc, and alerting other players that there is such a channel like E8 which would help encourage more people to join us. This will widen the community and will allow more players the chance to reach victory and also this will mean that there will be more competition.

Excellent Idea.
We should try this out and make some pug rooms and see what happens.
That is hoping people would play out and not have new players come in every other round.

And Ceyhan and factory is fine as long as you know how to play it.

Just take out Festival if it lands on it doing random lol.

Ceyhan and Factory are competitive maps. The only reason Ceyhan isn't played globally is because all the versions of crossfire have different versions of the map.

Since most people want to play competitively and compete in WCG, CFS, etc... We should be playing and practicing international maps. I've never stated that they aren't competitive but they don't meet international standards. The more maps in the pool, I think the better but Ceyhan and Factory both are glitchy as it is. People glitch all the time in Ceyhan and shoot you through walls in Echo 8. So preferably I would just stick with all the maps except those two.

We did stuff like this in SF, called them pro pubs.

Basically the only way to get in the room was to be invited, since the pw was usually a jumble of random characters.

Obviously they aren't meant to be taken too seriously, just a place where competitive community members could chill and have fun. But the advantage of invite only is that if someone's being a tool, you can just kick them out of the room and they can't relog and come back.

Two things.

First, if people are using pubs for serious practice, they're silly. If people are actually going to do this, any kind of restrictions should be kept to a minimum. Hell, even just going "No ZP guns" as the only real restriction would work well.

Secondly, saying that people shouldn't play Ceyhan or Factory because their "glitchy" and because people glitch on them is silly. These would be closed environments, where you could just kick the person who's being a tool. Not only that, but I'd be interested in hearing why you think Ceyhan/Factory are more glitchy than any of the other maps (PM/xFire though cause it's off-topic.).


I might try some of these later today, if I can get a few friends start it with me.

I like this idea, i find normal pubs quite boring most of the time so this could be a cool thing to do. Also, funner isn't a word.

Want to know the truth moderator and the other glitchy dude, this is from a experienced E8 pubber. We do not tolerate any glitchy people why? they are a waste of time, here we lie on a knife kill. Knife kills can embarrass you in many ways.

Moderator may i know your IGN so that i may 1vs1 you or maybe you could scrim with me etc.
