You have a badass internet provider. I'm in california but always have ping of 80 to 90 in Alpha, and 60 in west coast.
Are you using Verison internet ??? and do you know how much it charge me ??? I think Verison has issue because my friend he using Verison and he's lagg too. -

I don't know whether or not Verizon has something to do with your lag. However, I do recall several months ago when Verizon was my Internet/phone provider. On one particular day, my entire game lagged. Several times I would disconnect. I might not have kept count. Though if I remember correctly, I probably had disconnected more than sixty in one afternoon. I had no idea what was going on.
I had heard from my ex-clan leader that he was constantly disconnecting and that he has Verizon too. I did ask a few of my friends, who did not have Verizon, and sure enough, they did not disconnect or lag at all.
So yeah, that was that. Again, I don't know whether or not Verizon is having its issues again or whatnot. Do confirm it with more players and maybe even contact Verizon to see what's going on. -
Just got off the phone with fios my internet is working fine yet my ping today in alpha is 450 norm is 80 in west coast my ping is 6 now it is 50 and this is on my desk top and lap top don't know whats going on I also re installed the game , no change

i think because Verizon issue. I'm gonna get my new internet by tomorrow. I'm so tired of this. -
Cox doesn't serve most of the West Coast yet. From my experience, Comcast/Verizon is the best ISP in California.
Yes, I am lagging a lot and I am from California as well.
Now is 2 AM. I have back with my normal pings in echo. Don't know what's going on? Which is bad??? Internet??? or Server in California???. OMFG. -

that about 4months ago people with verizon would get dced from ingame.
i used to have verizon and id get 80+ ping in NYC.
switched to optimum and i get 25-45 now. -
I've sent an email to Cogent regarding this issue and hopefully they'll look into it. (Cogent hosts the West coast server/colocation.) I'll post any updates on this thread.
That will be help alot. The issue fixed. We are back to normal
