Yes Everyone loves new tournaments it brings us together, a year ago this game was on the verge of dying since there were no tournaments and activity was at an all time low. Now there are TOO many tournaments going on and its getting to the point where players are like, " wait what tournament are we playing in". If you are making/creating a tournament, please be aware about other tournaments going on and/or please include prizes. Cant wait for CFL and WCG :P

Tournaments don't have to be joined.

My team had tournaments we were playing in on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Just don't overlap them or make sure their default times are different i.e. 6PM on a Saturday then another at 8PM on a Saturday would be fine.

If tournaments have the same default times don't join both of them. We started the summer tournament in the final 2 weeks of pres cup so only 4 teams were out of a chance at our tournament. I think 2 of them joined anyway and just worked around it and scheduled at different times.

Also, if a bigger more worthy tournament comes up at the same time just drop the lower tournament and go for the big prize.

I had a ton of teams saying "Damn I missed the sign-up for your tournament." The amount of teams that made that vocal and most likely the teams that didn't say a word about it could probably have another full tournament running at the same time as ours and go just as well.

It doesn't matter how many there are, teams will either sign up to the ones with prizes or ones that they have time for.

I dont know what u r talking abt ? Be4 it was march macmess prez cup n cf rise but they have all come to an end, the only tournament with prize is summer tour and i think it is the only one rite now :?
P/s : I wonder what happen to ocg they disappeared after the ocg tour hmm?

I find it is not that there is a lot of tournaments i mainly find the teams do not know how to handle them, and the tournament themselves and admins tend to do a sub par job when it comes to running them. Like posting on the forums for match results? Really? You're trying to run your "named" tournie through the z8 forums, advertise here, run it on your own website for organization purposes.
