Carbon you guys are mad good. you not only nearly beat the second-best team in the world, you slaughtered the third-best. on top of that, you had some intense pressure on all of you. not only was that your main topfragger's first lan, you were just coming off a major incident involving haccusations. you had a ton of pressure to perform and what did you do? you shattered everyone's expectations.
get fluffing hyped. we have a team that has shown to be able to compete at the upper levels of international play. on top of that, we have a several other teams who are close to or at that level

we are getting worse. we need to send our big boys, not our b grade teams
Hahaha this guy.
For one, WCG was much easier than CFS. Tyler and I carried at LAN and we still couldn't make it out of group stage, let alone even come close to the Chinese teams if we had played them.
Two, the year they got second, they got 20-4'd with the Chinese team no-respect rushing them. Brando even said that the WCG that year wasnt even comparable in skill level to CFS.
Three, all NA teams that have played the Chinese are overall 30-4 in rounds to them.
Four, our very first match as a team and famous and tommy's first LAN match ever was on the main stage against a Chinese team. Nothing we practiced online was working, we were nervous, and after that we just started tearing it up.
All of the Chinese teams are on the same level. NONE of them are comparable to the other NA teams. We had to change up everything we normally do on the fly. Luckily, we are very good at that.
We only lost to the 3rd place team and the 2nd place team.
We faced the next Chinese team: HG in the group finals and beat them on port.
Then we played Modern, the team who got 2nd in overtime. We beat them on the first map by like 4-5 rounds. Second map, Brando's mouse started dying every min or so for like 5sec and that cost us a few rounds, but we still only lost by 1 round. We would have won if his mouse was fine. For example, one of the rounds that it died, a player passed him, but he couldn't move or shoot so he just stared as the guy killed famous and then the guy turned around and noticed him. Then, on the third map, with Brando's mouse messing up every round a lot, we couldn't do anything on BW without our sniper.
Overall, even counting the first match, we were 38-43 against Chinese teams. Discount the first and we were 34-33. A lot better than 4-30. -

you guys carried hella hard on first match i gotta say. The match that was needed the performance wasnt there. Not talking **** just sayin andre. Also, useless [*closing frags* after bomb is planted and its red and you get 3 kills with no chance to defuse] frags are in no way showing any carry which is what exactly happened. like i said im not bashing you, you are a great player and I am proud you guys did well at CFS, but don't forget you did not stomp us. It was a close game which means the teams are on the same levels MEANING we (if we went) could have done just as well.
overall, congrats and we could only improve. let's do that and beat china eventually -

Whether the mouse died or not is irrelevant.
What Ghandi's trying to convey is that they're on par with the best Chinese teams. If you want to try and say he's crying because he lost, then w/e, but that's just a waste of everyone's time because it obviously isn't true :O
Carbon did well. Pretty much end of story. If you feel you or other players are better, then next time an international event like this occurs, you're more than welcome to enter the qualifiers. -

what i saw from the Chinese teams
good aim
no strats, 3-4 times i saw clock run out[shouldn't happen in this game]
worse attempts at clutches i have ever seen[going in when bomb is red]
they should at least have 2 streams up
They don't play like it's NA CF. We tried to play like it was NA CF and got straight up destroyed by QC. When we adapted to how LAN was suppose to be played we did great. Everything the Chinese do is for a reason and these guys make a salary for playing. THIS ISNT ONLINE CF. There is barely any peak advantage. They play out the time to see if a player on the opposing team will make a mistake. You wouldn't understand because it's hard to explain. If you peaked out alone, you lost, end of story. -
