Dpi stands for dot per inch which is completely chosen by ones preference and ability to move the mouse. 400 dpi is a low sensitivity, and 12000dpi is a very high sensitivity which may move the mouse if you very well look at it haha.

ty captain obvious
you need jesus.
OT: All about personal preference. Took me about a week to find something I was comfortable with using the Sensei.. just go off the profiles provided (despite them being different games; change the hz to the lowest [120]) and play around with it. -
but seriously return it; if you decide to keep it then...
ExactAim - Anti-Acceleration (when you slow down you mouse movements it slows down your speed) put this on 0
ExactAccel - Standard Positive Acceleration put this on 0
ExactLift - Lift off Distance (determines when your mouse will stop tracking when you lift it up (z-axis)) preference I used 0
Freemove - "prediction" (path correction it will "I think" interpolate your mouse movement and then correct small changes in x and y axis during movements creating visible straight lines (depending on how you set it)) I used 0 for a long time but I kind of like having a little prediction it's actually quite nice keeps you head level during flicks ext. I'd set this between 0 and 3.
It tracks best at 400DPI it doesn't really matter though you get like 5+ m/s tracking speeds. Make sure you play on your CPI 1 setting not 2 as 2 gets interpolated.
Polling rate, meh... 1000Hz is probably fine like I said you get super high tracking speeds with this sensor, then again you're playing cf so 125Hz lol.
Mouse has 0-5% positive acceleration on cloth pads, which makes this mouse unusable to anyone who is serious about gaming unless you play on a hard pad. Either way not worth the money there are way better mice out there.
