Keeping up on your performance.
Alright hey guys, I just wanted to ask you competitive players somethin. I notice with myself I'm very unstable with how i play. What I mean by this is every game I do way different from the last. For example, I clan war the same team 3 times today with same guns and first game I do terrible, next game I carry, and last game I just do average. Is there any tips on keeping a more sturdy hold on yourself.

am not even close to be competitive but here are somethings that could affect ur performance
your performance may be the same when u play against the same team but there are some factors would change ur kd
1- your team (may be the same may be different)
2- your team ks u alot or u ks them
3- plan (the other team may figure out ur plan)
4-moral (may u were not excited)
5- being out numbered
6- if wanna look at real world competitions teams never gets the same scores every time its different sometimes they win sometime the lose even if against the same team. -
First of all you would need to have the same mindset each game.
For me I always have to force myself to actually flick to the person because usually I'm lazy and my aiming bases off my strafing. Just play smart, and hit your shots and you should do consistently good.
You're from Washington also? -

Thanks for the tips. I think I need to work at strafing and hitting my shots the most. I noticed when I just practiced bursting/hitting shots I did much better then just holdin down the spray.
Yea I am, why? Ping increased by 15 after vip patch -

If you want to get more consistant I suggest playing tdm.
Working on your shot that way can help ssubstantially.
IMO FFA is better than TDM. TDM has a tendency to put players on consistently level surfaces, which can encourage aim for heads in a way that won't work in an SnD game. -

Do this.
Also some players just aren't good at certain maps, that could have been a factor. Practice every map, even if you don't like them as much as others. Find spots that work for you and play them, switch it up though. -
Make sure you have a routine that you can go through before every match. Mine is a few 30 kills ffas on some random server.
It helps to buffer the outside world and pressure and you can think about your in-game role during those 10 minutes while you get your shot ready. -
I like to turn off the in-game sounds and play a 12hz binaural beat. When you are calm and composed your thoughts stay on the game and never derail. If you start thinking about how you died, someone is cheating, your score, performance anxiety then you are not putting a full effort into winning.

This second part is only true for a match, since it's the only time you should care about winning. Put your effort into improving in a scrim. -
lol at the "play pubs"
so inefficient
go to the shooting range @item shop, pick w/e gun you want to practice with
or like
get a friend in a private room w/ you
spam 5 random spots on the wall, move your crosshair between them as quickly as you can
do this for a few minutes, switch to 5 new spots
repeat
if its a mentality issue, just play FFAs and work on not getting mad
spawns make you rage all day
d00d
oh and like
if you havent disabled your base mouse accel
you should do that -
