After this Bandi/Fraps proof cheat is around whats next?
After seeing this theory or apparent proof of fam0us cheating it kinda makes me question whats next for competitive CF? With recording and using moss seeming to be the only form of anti-cheat in tournaments and leagues with cheats immune to recording how will we be able to truly believe the legitimacy of any player? Please give your thoughts on this and how can people managing leagues,drafts, and tournaments manage this seemingly impossible to spot cheat?

We should just stop recording in general and put our faith in the honor system.
or get an actual working client.
*whatever league that comes with a working anti-cheat, that has been proven to catch and ban palyers will flourish in the CF competitive scene and dominate all others. -

@drennnnnn Anti-cheats and LAN performances will, and should have always be a way to determine a players legitimacy.
Not sure why we couldn't have eliminated Bandicam as an Anticheat equivalent a long time ago. Time to take this community defeat to heart, learn upon it, and improve for future events.
You can only move in one directions, lets move towards the right direction this time.

This new OCG anti-cheat actually works, trust me... Someone was cheating on it (not giving any names) however the player was from my team.
I can assure you that this anti cheat works and I have been given proof. I suggest you all try it!

When I was talking to Evan, he said players caught cheating will not only be banned from the event but also from the game since they are partnered with Z8Games. -

Weak, I meant more along the lines of letting OCG run bigger events, such as CFGL, WCG.

They need some more experience before running higher end events. Just a general thought, last nights issues aside they seemed rather organized so far.
PS: When I say experience, I refer to dealing with issues between players teams and so forth. Not the connection issues with the pugs. Setting up the groundwork is simple in theory, it's the execution that's difficult. -

not sure about last nights issues, or even their exp at all because I do not partake in community events, but CFL had no real experience when asked to run CFGL.
So really nothing to stop OCG. They have the AC, let em do their thing.
If not, get the OCG AC and let someone else run it. Point being: we desperately need an AC for all events across the board. -

The vast majority of what I've seen with the tourney's/events is that the top admin teams just flake under pressure or cannot organize themselves when it comes down to disputes or setting hard rules or judgements. -

agreed, and a big reason of that is because of friendships.
I'd for example would ban my best-friend brad if he even used a spray in my league. -

I don't know about the accuracy of this. IIRC this same scenario was brought up during WOGL, and Z8 were understandably cautious about extending account ban powers like that.
We'll have to see if/when OCG gets bigger though. -

Thought the same thing, basically would be like banning from youtube just provding a little more proof.
