OCG has decided to host our first tournament! OCG Launch Tournament will be a lot of fun! Z8games will be supporting prizes for the tournament! OCG and Z8Games are very excited for the future to see what we can accomplish together!

How to Register into OCG Launch Tournament -

*You will not be able to join the tournament until you have 5 players on your roster.*

Information -

The tournament will be in BO3 form with the semi-finals and finals being Best of 3. Maps will be chosen when the Brackets are released. There will be a max of 32 teams allowed to play. Anymore teams that register will be put on a waiting list.

Entry Closing: 11:59 PM EST - May 19th, 2013
May 21’st Brackets will be released
Tournament Begin: May 25/26, 2013
Rosters' Lock: May 22, 2013 @ 11:00 PM EST
Semi-Finals/Finals Begin: Sunday May 26, 2013

Times: Tournament Day 1 @ 2:00 PM EDT – 8:00 PM EDT*
Tournament Day 2 @ 4:00 PM EDT – 9:00 PM EDT*

Teams:
• Every registered team can participate
• 8 players max on the roster (only 5 winners if the team is on the top 5 teams of the tournament)

Requirements:
• All participants must be registered to our website
• All team members must be running the latest version of the Anti-Cheat program
• Must show sportsmanlike conduct
• Must agree to OCG's Terms of Service and conduct rules
• Players are required to take screenshots after EVERY game played and sent to an Administrator on the OCG Forums

Players:
• Players must play by the correct ruleset
• Players that do not play by the ruleset are subject to a team disqualification
• Proof must be captured either by video or screenshots if wished to be disqualified
• Teams can either choose to replay or disqualify the opposing team if caught breaking these rules
• Proof must be sent to an Administrator on the OCG Forums for investigation

The game will last 7 rounds a side. The team after two games with the most wins will win. If there is a tiebreaker, a 5 round rematch on the same map will be put in place. The team that was on GR the second round will be on BL, and the team on BL will be on GR.

Prizes -

1st Place Prize: 5x 75K ZP and 5 Tiato Gaming Mouse Pads by Roccat (approx $15 each)

2nd Place Prize: 5x 50K ZP

3rd Place Prize: 5x 25K ZP

*Note: We will deliver the mousepads to players located in NA(US/CAN) and give appropriate zp points if the team is located elsewhere!*

Plus random GIVEAWAYS and RAFFLES during the livestream on Twitch!!

Penalties -

Illegal Character Items/Boost spots - For every round the item is on or the glitch/boost is used that team will lose 1 round.

Illegal Weapon - For every round an illegal weapon is used the offending team will lose 3 rounds. It does not matter if the weapon harmed anyone. If it is seen, you will lose 3 rounds.

We will be using OCG ACS Client this tournament.
OCG ACS is highly sophisticated, and will catch any kind of advantage in game and out of game, even crosshairs, red dots on minimap, wallahck, aimbot, etc .

750,000 ZP prize pool for the top teams, broken down into 1st second and 3rd prizes (see main announcement)
Plus 5 Roccat Taito mid-sized gaming mousepads

Note that the mousepads will be delivered by G4Box following the tournament once addresses are confirmed with OCGaming. 5 mousepads will be delivered to USA/CAN addresses only. ZP Point equivalent prizes will be distributed to players from other regions should they win.

There will also be raffles for in game items during the broadcasts.

Might Come back to this game for this tournament. I've talked to a few friends about WCG and I'm definately coming back for that ( I'm not stating I was ever good, or ever on any good teams, so before the "Who Cares" and Other kinds of trolls come in, know I'll ignore all your posts, Thank you! ) but This tournament looks good, and I might come back Sooner than I thought.. Was planning on coming back sometime towards the end of Summer (Late July-Early August ).
